Over the years, much of the supporting soil had been washed away by rainwater, causing many of the concrete slabs to crack and sink under their own weight. In order to waterproof the space, a Woods Basement Systems team began by installing under-floor WaterGuard drains at the base of the leaking walls to catch any leaks and prevent them from making it into the space itself. After this, a TripleSafe sump pump, equipped with three independently operating pumps and capable of pumping well over 10,000 gallons of water per hour, was put in place to remove all of the water caught by the WaterGuard drains from the home. Dennis's basement is now totally dry!

Judy of Centralia, Illinois needed a waterproofing system to protect her basement since she had decided to finish her basement. Judy worked alongside system design specialist, Luke K., who constructed the new, customized plan. Luke recommended installing a drainage system, WaterGuard, with a sump pump, TripleSafe, to pump water back outside.

Head foreman, Melvin F., installed the new waterproofing systems with the help of his team. WaterGuard drains were installed in the footing of the basement floors to collect the water leaks and direct them towards the new TripleSafe sump pump. This inorganic liner attaches to the surface of the walls and prevents any moisture from getting into the area itself. After this, the WaterGuard system was installed under the floors at the base of the walls. This system collects any water coming from the walls and floors and pipes it away, keeping the floors dry. Next, a TripleSafe sump pump was put in place to take all of the water collected by the WaterGuard system and pump it out of the house. Finally, a Sanidry dehumidifier was installed to keep the air dry and prevent any kind of mold growth.

Geo-Lock consists of a heavy-duty steel plate and a galvanized steel rod that protect and eventually straighten the damaged walls over time. Roger of Centralia, Illinois needed his crawl space to be repaired along with a new sump pump, so he called Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Austin G. recommended installing a SmartSump pump, CleanSpace, and WaterGuard. 

Foreman, Juan H. installed the products. The SmartSump sump pump is specifically designed for crawl spaces and can protect against flooding and leaks. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier used to fully seal off a crawl spaces from dirt, critters, and moisture. It is made of inorganic materials, so it does not support mold growth. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the floor and it guides water that is collected through the walls to the sump pump to be removed from the home.

Foreman William T used PolyLevel to fix the patio. PolyLevel is injected into the concrete and raise its level. The injection leaves behind a dime sized hole that will be filled in with concrete.

The TripleSafe is a sump pump equipped with a primary, secondary, and battery powered pump. If the power goes out, the sump pump will still remove water from the home. The Twin Pack sump pump has both a primary and secondary pump. The sump pump removes water from the basement through a discharge line. The Waterguard drainage system was placed above the footing of the basement. It collects and drains water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The CleanSpace wall system is a plastic liner that is attached to the wall. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains any leaks that may occur behind it. Finally, the Sanidry Sedona is a lightweight dehumidifier that not only removes water vapor, but also filters the air for dust, pollen, and other allergens.

Michael W. no longer has to worry about his home's basement flooding. He now has a dry and waterproof home.

The sump pump collects and removes water from the home through an exterior discharge line.

The WaterGuard drainage system was installed above the footing of the basement. It collects and drains water that is coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface. The BrightWall paneling system was fastened to the walls of the basement. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains any leaks behind it, all while making the basement look cleaner and brighter. Finally, the Zoeller 1/2 hp pump was replaced in the sump pump. It is the primary pump that is used most often.

He started off by installing a SmartPipe system with an exterior discharge line and IceGuard, a SmartSump, and a SaniDry CX. The SmartPipe drainage system has holes on the top and front which helps collect water from the ground and the surface of the crawl space, leaving a drier area. The SmartSump is a sump pump made specifically for crawl spaces. With the help of the exterior discharge line, it moves water out and away from the crawl space. In case of a cold winter, the IceGuard provides a different path for water if the discharge line freezes. The SaniDry CX is a special dehumidifier made for crawl spaces. It collects any water vapor present and drains into the sump pump. Finally foreman Joshua B. installed an EverLast Door. This door is made out of inorganic material that seals the crawl space and keeps out water and any air leakage.

After the installment of all these waterproofing products, Jeff A. no longer has to worry about any water collecting in his home's crawl space. 

Tom P., Centralia, Illinois homeowner, was distraught by his bowing foundation walls. As the walls bowed under pressure, they cracked and allowed water to leak into the baement. The water caused mold to grow. System design specialist David F. designed a solution.

Gary and Jan C. of Centralia, IL were having moisture control issues in their crawlspace. Gary and Jan were concerned about the threats of mold and rotting wood this moisture was causing. Woods Basement Systems was able to provide a solution to ease their minds.

Woods installed CleanSpace to seal off the crawlspace from outside moisture. This would reduce the risk of mold and rotting wood by eliminating the amount of moisture in the crawlspace. A drainage mat was installed under the CleanSpace to drain away any unwanted water that may be standing in the crawlspace. Vent covers were also installed for additional sealing. Vent covers are fit to the vents of the home to create an air tight seal that prevents moisture from seep through.

Woods also installed a SaniDry. The SaniDry system filters moisture out of the air and makes the crawlspace less humid. Controlling the humidity in the crawlspace is important to preventing mold. The less moisture, the harder it is for the mold to grow.

A Twin Pack sump pump was installed to evacuate unwanted water. The sump pump will pump the water out through a discharge line that leads the water to the yard. This line can become clogged or frozen at times, in order to prevent the water from receding back into the crawlspace, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the discharge line next to the house and allows water to escape through it when it is necessary.
