Experienced Bowing Wall Repair & Basement Remodeling in Herculaneum, MO

He was concerned that, if left unaddressed, the cracks would get larger and cause all sorts of problems. With this in mind, he elected to take action sooner rather than later.

In order to reinforce the damaged walls, foreman Greg and his team installed several PowerBrace supports. These galvanized steel I-beams are secured against the walls to totally prevent any further cracking or movement. Bob can rest easy now that he is safe from total wall collapse!

Foreman Chris B. and his team installed push pier support systems to lift and brace the compromised foundation. Push piers are made of galvanized steel and provide permanent foundation protection by restoring it to its original position. Roger and Bob's foundation troubles are now a thing of the past thanks to their new push pier systems!

Tony H. of Herculaneum, Missouri wanted to do some reventative waterproofing work, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Pete L. recommended installing a Twin Pack pump, WaterGuard, and IceGuard. 

Foreman, Mason S. installed the products. The Twin Pack sump pump includes two stainless steel pumps that are guaranteed to protect your home from leaks and floods. The WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it works to collect water that seeps through the walls. It then takes that collected water and guides it to the sump pump in order to be removed from the home. IceGuard is placed on the outside of the home and it allows for water to expel from the guards in the event that the pipes should clog or freeze up. 

Now Tony H. can rest easy, knowing his home is waterproofed. 

Chester M. of Herculaneum, Missouri noticed that the walls in his home's basement were bowing and cracking. He did not want the problem to get any worse, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.

Design specialist Michael T. assessed the situation and decided the best solution was to install some channel anchors. Foreman Jeremy R. then traveled to the home to start the job.

Channel anchors extend from the hard packed soil outside to the basement walls inside. The channel anchors are then secured to the floor. The steel anchors prevent any further movement and stabilize the walls.

Chester M. no longer has to worry about his home's walls cracking and bowing. He now has stable and safe walls.

A sinking sidewalk can be hazardous to the people trying to walk on it. That’s why John J called Woods Basement System. System Design Specialist David D was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman William T used PolyLevel to raise the level of the sinking concrete. PolyLevel is injected into the concrete and will raise it up. The injection it’s self leaves behind a dime sized hole that is filled with concrete.

Home owners in Herculaneum, MO had standing water in their basement. The water did not allow them to use the space for storing personal items and threatened the home with mold. Woods Basement Systems installed products to help get the water out of the space.

WaterGuard is installed in the cement of the flooring against the walls. This allows water to enter the piping and be drained to prevent damages to the home and  personal belongings.

This line can become clogged or frozen at times, in order to prevent the water from receding back into the basement, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the discharge line next to the house and allows water to escape through it when it is necessary.

Woods installed CleanSpace to seal off the crawlspace from outside moisture. This would reduce the risk of mold and rotting wood by eliminating the amount of moisture in the crawlspace. A drainage mat was installed under the CleanSpace to drain away any unwanted water that may be standing in the crawlspace. Vent covers were also installed for additional sealing. Vent covers are fit to the vents of the home to create an air tight seal that prevents moisture from seep through.

SilverGlo Insulated Panels were installed to provide additional insulation for the space. These panels help control the environment of the space and helped lower James and Jenny's energy bills.

A SaniDry was installed to filter moisture out of the air in the crawlspace. A SaniDry is a dehumidifier for the space and will help control the humidity. Controlling the humidity of the crawlspace will reduce energy bills and make the home more comfortable because the air that is moving into the house is more controlled.The SaniDry system also filters moisture out of the air and makes the crawlspace less humid. Controlling the humidity in the crawlspace is important to preventing mold. The less moisture, the harder it is for the mold to grow.
