Robbie and Amy M. of Maryville, IL, were experiencing many water issues with their basement. They had many water stains on their basement flooring, as well as water damage to their basement walls. Robbie and Amy decided to consult with Woods Basement Systems to explore their options in solving their current basement issues.
Josh L., one of Wood's System Design Specialists, went to Robbie and Amy's home to conduct an inspection of their basement. Josh collaberated his ideas, and composed a free estimate for the homeowners. Robbie and Amy discussed their options with Josh and decided to proceed with having a Waterguard System as well as a TwinPack sump pump and the IceGuard installed. All of these products were installed by Foreman, Greg H.
The twinpack consists of two pumps to ensure proper outflow of water. The Waterguard System will help control the direction of water, and the IceGuard ensures water flows outside and does not back up in the pump in the event of frozen or clogged discharge lines. After one day of service by Woods, Robbie and Amy no longer have concerns of future water damage to their basement.
In order to prevent water from entering their Maryville, IL basement, Robbie and Amy M called Woods Basement Systems to install a water-proofing system (WaterGuard) and our TwinPack sump pump. The WaterGuard system is installed around the perimiter of the basement floor and directs all the water that comes in through the walls and drains it to the sump pump. Robie and Amy now have a dry, clean basement that they will be able to use for a very long time.
Agneta of Belleville, IL never liked going down into her crawlspace; it was unsightly and damp in every direction. Wanting something to be done to make her crawlspace less intimidating, she contacted Woods Basement Systems, Inc. in Collinsville, IL for a free quote. The company sent one of their System Design Specialists, Kevin, to inspect her crawlspace, and he determined the CleanSpace would best fit her needs. He also explained how the CleanSpace would separate her crawlspace from the earth and would help with the humidity problem she had, too.
Believing CleanSpace was exactly what she wanted, Agneta arranged for Woods Basement Systems, Inc. to have it installed. A few weeks later, one of Woods's foremen, Joshua, and his crew went to Agneta's home in Belleville and spent the next few days installing everything she purchased.
Agneta was very satisfied with the work that was done and felt more at ease, knowing that her crawlspace was not only looking better but was also dry.
This Maryville, IL resident was tired of dealing with water in his basement every time it rained. Water would seep in through the leaky window, and there wasn’t a proper waterproofing system to carry the water to the sump pump. There were also large cracks in the foundation walls because they had begun to bow slightly. Water would come in through the cracks in the walls, and the basement always seemed to be wet.
Woods Basement Systems fixed his wet basement problems by installing Wall Anchors, an EverLast window, WaterGuard, and a TripleSafe sump pump. All of these products worked together to keep the homeowner’s basement dry all the time.
The foundation in Rich's Maryville house was settling unevenly, and cracks in his basement wall (visible even from the outside) told the whole story. Rich asked Woods Basement Systems for help, aware the problem wasn't simply cosmetic. One free basement inspection and estimate later, Rich knew precisely what was happening with his foundation and how to repair it.
When a part of the foundation settles more than the rest, a splitting pressure can pull apart the structure holding up your house. The oftentimes safest solution for this serious issue (and the solution that Rich opted for) is a set of push piers. Push piers are driven deep underground until they reach a stable surface, and from there the weight of the foundation is placed on the piers. They take pressure off the walls, which can be lifted back into place.
Foundation Supportworks, Inc. push piers are intelligently designed for everlasting strength and safeguards against buckling or bending. A revolutionary external metal sleeve gives additional strength to the pier's vulnerable spot--directly below the bracket. Since the installation of FSI piers, Rich knows his foundation isn't going anywhere and won't be ashamed of glaring wall cracks.
