Millard K. of Pevely, MO was having some problems with her concrete and foundation. The concrete on her driveways and sidewalks is uneven, and the foundation on the house is failing, causing the home to sink. 

Sadon B. and his team installed PolyLevel to lift and stabilize the slabs of concrete. A Push Pier system was also added to stabilize the foundation from further settlement. Millard can now rest assured now that her concrete is level and her foundation is stable!

In Pevely, Missouri homeowner Robin N. wanted a way to waterproof and use her crawlspace for storage and to keep her home from becoming damp and being exposed to the earth. She couldn’t store anything in her crawlspace currently because the floor was dirt similar to many crawlspaces. She heard from a friend that she got her crawlspace sealed by Woods Basement Systems. We sent our foreman Jesse Crotser and his team out to the Saint Louis home to install the perfect solution for Robin’s home. To seal the crawlspace from the earth, they first installed a Dimpled Polyethylene membrane over the dirt floor, on-top of it they installed our CleanSpace liner. These two items work together to seal the crawlspace from the earth. Sealing your crawlspace from the earth creates a better environment for your home. Now, Robin is able to use her crawlspace as a storage area, and has better peace of mind about her home.

Homeowner Brandon G. of Pevely, Missouri needed a solution for the uneven concrete outside of his home. The sidewalk leading up to his home was cracked and uneven, causing a major hazard to visitors and passersby’s. Homeowner Jody L. of Pevely, Missouri was concerned with several of her basement walls. They were significantly cracked and slightly bowing, and she worried that the damage would worsen and cause a collapse if nothing was done in a timely manner. In order to support the walls and prevent further cracking, foreman Jeremy and his team installed several PowerBrace supports. These galvanized steel I-beams are incredibly strong and totally halt any further damage. Jody's walls are no longer in danger and she can rest easy!

Pevely, Missouri homeowner Don noticed water in his basement. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Desgin Specialist Brenton K. developed the perfect plan to dry his basement. 

Foreman Malik J. and his crew installed WaterGuard system around the perimeter of the basement. This will collect any water that gets in from gaps during construction and redirect it to the TwinPack sump pump. The TwiinPack will direct the water out of the home. 

Don can now enjoy his dry basement and kno whis belongings are safe. 

Madelin M. of Pevely, Missouri noticed that her home's basement was collecting water after heavy rain storms. She did not want to have to clean up a mess after every storm, so she called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Sean H. assessed the situation and decided that the installation of a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system would fix the problems. Foreman Ryan L. traveled to the home to get the job started.

The Waterguard drainage system was placed above the footing of the basement. It collects and drains any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The TripleSafe sump pump has a primary, secondary, and battery powered pump that ensures the basement stays dry no matter what. The battery powered sump pump continues to work even when the power goes out.

Madelin M. no longer has to worry about her basement flooding after storms. She now has a dry and waterproof home.

A crawl space is that part of the house that you never think about until you turn on the air conditioner and wonder why your house smells terrible. That’s why Joshua H called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jacob K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman James L installed CleanSpace in Joshua’s crawl space. This will keep the space dry, and keep mold away so that there are no bad smells in the house. James also installed a SmartJack under the home, to support a portion of the foundation that was sinking. The SmartJack will rest on stable soil and push the home back into place.

Ryan B. of Pevely, Missouri noticed that his basement was collecting water. He did not want to have to deal with this problem after every big rain shower, so he called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Chris T. discussed the problems with the homeowner and decided the best plan of action was to install a Waterguard drainage system and a Twin Pack sump pump. Foreman William H. then headed to the home to start the job.

The Waterguard drainage system was placed above the footing of the basement and was then covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects and drains any water that comes up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The Twin Pack sump pump has both a primary and secondary pump. If, for some reason, the primary pump goes out, the secondary pump kicks in and takes over. The sump pump collects water and moves it out of the home through an exterior discharge line.

Ryan B. no longer has to worry about a wet or flooded basement. He now has a dry and waterproof home.

The main beam in the crawl space of Josh H.’s Pevely, MO home had been damaged by termites. The damage had made the beam rot which had caused the floors above to sag. The crawl space was also very damp and which had fostered mold and mushroom growth so he called Woods Basement Systems. After thoroughly inspecting the crawl space, Design Specialist Jake K. recommended installing an encapsulation and floor support system.

Woods installed SmartJacks along the main beam in the crawl space. SmartJacks are galvanized, adjustable steel beams that rest on precast concrete pads set on a base of compacted stone. This system won’t settle like masonry piers nor will they rot or shift like wood posts. They are adjustable to lift the floors above back to their proper level.

CleanSpace was installed over the foundation walls and dirt floors of the crawl space. CleanSpace is a thick, durable plastic liner. It’s 20 mil thick, much thicker than the 6 mil flimsy, easily terrible liners that are typically used as moisture barriers in crawl spaces. It designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air and pests, like termites, from getting into the crawl space. It is treated with anti-microbial finish that protects against mold or mildew growth on or under the liner.

Josh H. is relieved that he no longer has to worry about termite damage in his crawl space and glad to have his floors back to level position.
