Jessica F. of Brighton, Illinois noticed that her basement was collecting water and some of the walls were cracking and bowing. She did not want to ignore the problems and allow them to get worse, so she called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.

Design specialist Cody M. assessed the situation and decided that installing wall anchors would fix the bowing walls, and a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system would keep the basement dry. Fast and Effective Concrete Lifting and Leveling

The major flaw of concrete is that the ground that it was poured on top of will inevitably shift and sink over time. In the states of Illinois and Missouri sinking concrete is all too common which is why our company has gone to great lengths to develop fast and effective concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel is a revolutionary product that is minimally invasive and not only lifts and levels concrete but also stabilizes it.

How PolyLevel works:

  1. The concrete lifting and leveling process begins with a few small holes drilled in the slab.
  2. Then the PolyLevel polymer is injected into the holes and expands to provide an accurate lift.
  3. After only about 15 minutes the polymer is dry and the concrete is ready to be walked and even driven on.

This concrete lifting and leveling technique is faster, less disruptive, and arguably more effective than mud jacking, which is the standard that PolyLevel replaces. We even offer SealantPro concrete sealing, which extends slabs' lifespans by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. This concrete sealing system is resistant to moisture, oil, UV rays, abrasions, and more.

To remove tripping hazards, stabilize concrete, and lift it back to a level height nothing is faster or more effective than PolyLevel concrete leveling. After, our concrete sealing system will preserve your slabs for a lifetime. To schedule a FREE concrete lifting and leveling or concrete sealing estimate, contact us today!

We can Fix:
  • Sunken sidewalks
  • Sagging steps
  • Uneven patios
  • Sinking driveways

Trent W., a Systems Design Specialist, was sent by Woods Basement to visit the home. He determined that the appropriate solution would be for foreman Andrew T. to install PolyLevel, a foam that is installed into the concrete and works to lift and fill in cracks.

CleanSpace Installation in Brighton, IL

When homeowner Kimball C. of Brighton, IL discovered the issues that comes along with a dirt crawlspace, he gave Woods Basement System a call. System design specialist Jacob K. headed to Brighton, IL to further discuss with the homeowner the design has created that would fix the problems in the crawlspace.

Foreman, James L. did a CleanSpace Encapsulation System installation. The dirt in a crawlspace has a very high humidity level which causes water vapor to move upward into the home. The dampness in the crawlspace also allows mold to reproduce, sending toxic mold spores into upper level of the home. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System consists of a heavy duty 7-layer liner material that is installaed across the floor and up the walls of the crawlspace. This system stops water vapor from coming in and removes the damp odor.

Because of the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, Kimball C. has a clean and bright crawlspace.

Patio lifted by Helical Piers in Brighton, IL.

Paula P. of Bright, IL had a beautiful concrete and brick patio that was sinking. Cracks had formed in the brick walls on the edge of the patio and it was visibly slanting to one side. She didn’t want to have to replace her patio so she called Woods Basement Systems. Design Specialist Brenton K. inspected her patio and found the perfect solution to save it.

Woods Basement Systems installed two Helical Piers on the side of the patio that was sinking. Helical Piers are designed to support heavy and lightweight structures, like patios, and prevent them from sinking any further. The corrosion-proof Helical Piers are driven into more stable soil under the structure and then attached to the concrete footing. Helical Piers will prevent any future settlement of the structure and can even lift the structure back to its original position.

Paula P. is thrilled her patio is back to its level position and she no longer has to worry about it sinking.
