WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement, catching any water entering the space before reaching the floor and items stored in the room. Now, Angela has peace of mind knowing that her home and items are protected from rainwater in her home.

Patricia A is worried about a crack in her foundation wall. It has been sealed before, but the wall cracks right through it and is getting wider. The walls are also beginning to bow in. She is worried that her foundation will fail.

So, Woods Basement Systems framed the basement with metal studs and finished the walls with the inorganic EverLast Basement Wall Panels, made from 2 1/2-inch thick rigid foam insulation with 1/2-inch thick cement board cladding. The cement board is finished with an off-white vinyl surface treatment.

What was once a cold, bare, and dark unfinished basement used only for storage is now a beautifully-finished, warm, and bright basement playroom and sewing room.  What a transformation!

Foreman Greg and his crew installed the PowerBraces for Regina. The PowerBraces are steel I-Beams that are installed in basement. The go along the walls and are anchored in the floor and on the rim joist. They give the wall the additional support it needs to fight against the pressures of the dirt and soil around the basement.

David H. of Imperial, Missouri needed some preventative waterproofing work done to his basement, so he called Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Adam R. recommended installing a Twin Pack sump pump, WaterGuard, and IceGuard. 

Foreman, Melvin F. installed the products. The Twin Pack sump pump has two stainless steel pumps that work to help protect your home against leaks and floods. WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of a basement floor and it is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It then takes that water and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home. IceGuard is placed on the outside of the home and it allows water to expel from the guards in case the pipes freeze up or clog. 

Now David H. has a safe, dry basement.

Foreman Jeremy and his crew were able to install Geo-Lock Wall Anchors in order to pull the wall back to its original position and begin the fixing the area. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors are steel rods that use the resistance of the solid earth to resist against changing soil.

Foreman, Juan H., worked to install the products. The twin pack sump pump has two pumps included, placed on two levels to prevent flooding and to better keep your basement dry even in severe weather. Walls can shift and bow over time. That’s why Steve T called Woods Basement Systems when he noticed his basement walls were bowing. System Design Specialist Jeremy R was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jeremy R installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor in Steve’s basement. The first part of the system attaches to the wall and the second attaches to stable soil away from the house. This will pull the walls back to where they are supposed to be.

Jodee and Shon L. of Imperial, MO were having problems with the concrete in the walkway leading to their home sinking and settling unevenly. This can happen naturally over time as the result of the weight of the concrete itself in addition to the weight what the concrete is responsible for holding up. Aware of potential dangers such as falling, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a free quote.

Upon the inspection of Systems Design Specialist Cory S., it was determined that the appropriate solution would be for foreman Juan H. to install PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a foam injection that is installed in 4 simple steps and is designed to lift the concrete back to its original position.

The retaining wall between Lisa B.’s yard in Imperial, MO and her neighbor’s property was cracking and tilting. Lisa was worried the wall might fail and she and her neighbor would have a massive problem on their hands so she called Woods Basement Systems to see what could be done. Design Specialist Brandon B. inspected the wall and recommended Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.

Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed along the retaining wall. Galvanized steel anchor rods were driven through the wall and connected to earth anchors that were embedded in more stable soil in the yard. The anchor rods were connected to wall plates on the inside of the wall and tightened to permanently stabilize the wall in place. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors can also straighten walls over time by tightening the anchor rods during dry periods.

Lisa B. has peace of mind knowing that the retaining wall is safe and secure and she no longer has to worry about it failing.
