CleanSpace is a vapor barrier made of inorganic materials, so it does not support mold growth. It is used to collect water that seeps through the basement walls. WaterGuard is installed below the CleanSpace in the perimeter of the basement floor. It takes the collected water and guides it to the sump pump so it can be fully removed from the home. IceGuard is placed on the outside of the home and it allows for water to expel from the guard in case the pipes freeze or clog, preventing water from backing up in the basement.

Foreman, Christopher B. installed the product. PolyLevel is a polyurethane formula that is a foam-like substance that permanently lifts and stabilizes sinking concrete slabs. First, small holes are drilled into the concrete and that polymer is injected into those holes. The foam expands underneath, lifting the concrete to its original position. The holes are covered with cement and within 15 minutes of installation, the concrete can be used again. 

Now Jeff D. has a safe and beautiful walkway.

The Waterguard drainage system was installed above the footing of the basement. It collects and drains any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The Twin Pack sump pump then removes the water from the home through a discharge line. The Twin Pack is equipped with both a primary and a secondary pump.

System design specialist, Phillip H. did a thorough inspection to help him create a design that would ensure the homeowner restored property. Foreman, Bryan N. did a PolyLEVEL system installation. Many homeowners do not know why their concrete has become unleveled and cracked. The combined weight of the concrete and what it supports causes the concrete to settle. Rather than using a mud and concrete mixture like other repair options, this system uses a high-density injection foam to raise the concrete slab back to its original position. In 4 steps, the installation is done and the concrete is no longer cracked or unleveled. The PolyLEVEL also has the quickest cure time. In just 15 minutes, the concrete can be driven or walked on. 

Homeowner, Al B. discovered the floors of his basement were uneven and sagging so he gave Woods Basement System a call.

System design specialist, John S. did an inspection on the home and created a design that would resolve the issue. Foreman, Joshua B. did a SmartJack Crawlspace Stabilizer system installation. Sagging and unleveled floors are likely caused by the brick columns in the crawlspace being too spaced apart or weakened floor joists and girders. The SmartJack uses a steel support system to stabilize and level the floor joists which lifts the floor above back to its original position. After the installation is done, it can hold more than 60,000 pounds.

The Sanidry Sedona is a lightweight dehumidifier that not only removes water vapor, but also filters the air for pollen, dust, mold spores, and other allergens. Finally, the Twin Pack sump pump is equipped with both a primary and secondary pump. These pumps ensure for a dry basement. The sump pump removes water from the home through a discharge line.

Karen K. no longer has to worry about discovering a flooded basement. She now has a dry and waterproof home.

Fred W. of Troy, IL noticed that his concrete was settling unevenly. Once he realized this was an issue, he called Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate.

Upon the visit from Systems Design Specialist Peter N., he determined that the proper solution would be to insert PolyLevel, which is a foam injection that is simply installed in 4-steps. Foreman William T. used PolyLevel to raise the level of the uneven concrete. PolyLevel is injected into the sinking portion of concrete which will then be raised up, it leaves behind only a dime sized hole.

Shirley and Warren T. had a cozy finished basement. Unfortunately, they hadn’t waterproofed before they finished their basement and heavy downpours caused hidden leaks behind the finished walls. Their carpets were soaked and stained, taking hours to dry out. The wood paneling on the bottom half of their finished walls was irreparably water damaged so they called Woods Basement Systems. Design Specialist Chris T. inspected the basement and found the best solution would be a waterproofing system.

Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard sits on top of the concrete footing of the home, unlike other drainage systems that are notorious for clogging. It will remain free of mud as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and draining it away to the sump pump.

The TripleSafe was installed to accept the water from the WaterGuard and pump it out and away from the basement. The TripleSafe contains a primary, a secondary and a battery back up pump which will protect the basement from even severe weather and power outages.

On the exterior of the home, IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines. IceGuards are designed with slotted openings that allow water to escape into the yard in the event that the discharge lines become frozen during cold winter months. This prevents the water being pumped out of the basement from getting back in.

The SaniDry dehumidifier was installed, as well. The SaniDry is an energy efficient but powerful dehumidifier that can remove up to 109 pints of the water from basement air per day. It keeps the relative humidity low to prevent mold growth and musty smells.

Shirley and Warren T. are thrilled that they can enjoy their cozy finished basement again without worries of water damage because their basement will stay dry.

Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls and dirt floors of the crawlspace. CleanSpace is a thick and durable plastic moisture barrier that is resistant to mold growth. It prevents moisture from entering into the crawlspace. It’s bright white appearance also maximizes the available light in the crawlspace and gives it a much cleaner appearance.

Under the CleanSpace, Woods installed drainage matting. Drainage matting has a dimpled design which provides channels for moisture entering the crawlspace to disperse.

Within the encapsulated crawlspace, Woods installed the SaniDry dehumidifier. The SaniDry is as energy efficient as small store-bought dehumidifiers but is far more effective at removing water from the crawlspace air: up to 109 pints per day. It keeps relative humidity low to prevent mold growth and musty smells in the crawlspace.

Woods installed GeoLock wall anchors to provide support for the home. These anchors are attached to the wall and is anchored to the yard outside. This is done by using poles to extend past the active zone in the yard. This will support the foundation of the home for the life of the structure so the homeowner’s never have to worry about a failing foundation.

Woods also installed WaterGuard to help drain water out of the basement. WaterGuard is installed against the wall in the concrete of the floor. The water will flow into the WaterGuard, allowing the piping to lead the water out of the basement.

CleanSpace was installed on the basement walls to provide protection to the home. CleanSpace sealed off the basement to keep water out but also guided the water that got in to the WaterGuard. 

Woods installed a discharge line that was attached to a Tripe Safe sump pump. This sump pump would pump the water in the basement through the discharge line. The discharge line leads the water into the yard where it is drained. The line can become frozen or clogged in some situations. In order to prevent the water from backing up into the basement, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard provides an escape route for the water so that it does not back up into the basement. 

Dennis and Kristen P., Troy, Illinois homeowners, discovered high levels of radon in their basement. Radon is a naturally occuring gas found in the soil. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, so Dennis and Kristen were worried.
