Woods installed a PushPier system, that is installed underneath the footing of the home to lift and stabilize the foundation.

Pat C.'s home in Weldon Spring, MO. had a settling foundation. Over the years, the soil beneath this home's footing compacted or eroded away, allowing the footing on top of it to sink. As the footing sank, the house began to sink with it.

The warning signs can be subtle. Things like doors and windows sticking when they are opened or closed or small cracks in the walls can be signs that a foundation is settling. These smaller issues can lead to larger problems like wall failure and sagging floors.

The solution is push piers. These steel cylinders are installed through a bracket attached to the footing. Then they are pressed deep into the ground, where they can reach strong, stable soil or bedrock. This soil or bedrock is compressed and will not compact, making it ideal to support the weigth of the foundation.

Once the piers are installed, the home will be rested on the brackets and supported by the steel piers that reach past the settling soil. This makes for a permanent solution for preventing further settling and can be a great option for lifting the house back to its original position.

Homeowner Arnold from Weldon Spring, Missouri noticed many warning signs that his crawl space was in need of a vapor barrier system. He then called Woods Basement Systems to have a professional look over the space by coming out to his house. He then spoke with system design specialist, Max D., who recommended installing a CleanSpace encapsulation system in his mold and muddy crawl space. 

Team Woods installed the new CleanSpace vapor barrier system into the crawl space to completely seal the area from harmful outer elements. This encapsulation system is made out of inorganic materials which is crucial to prevent the system from developing mold or damage. With the new CleanSpace system, Arnold can now use his previously moldy and muddy crawl space as storage space. 

Carl W. of Weldon Spring, MO was facing issues with the concrete around his home. He contacted Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate about resolving the problem.

Systems Design Specialist Matthew S. evaluated the situation and determined that the concrete was sinking and settling, causing it to be uneven. This can happen over time, due to the weight of the concrete and what the concrete is holding up. It was decided that the appropriate solution would be for foreman Andrew T. to insert PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel is a foam injection that is simply installed in 4-steps and lifts the concrete, resulting in a safe and level surface.

Carl W. no longer has to be concerned of the safety and security of his home now that he has had PolyLevel installed.

Milly M. of Weldon, IL had water leaking into her crawlspace. The water had no escape route and would stay in the space until it dried. Woods Basement Systems had the perfect products to seal the crawlspace.

Woods installed CleanSpace to seal off the space and prevent water and moisture from getting in. A drainage matt was installed under the CleanSpace to drain away any unwanted water that may be standing in the crawlspace. Vent covers were also installed for additional sealing. These covers create an air tight seal and do not allow water or moisture into the crawlspace.

Woods installed a discharge line that was attached to a TripleSafe sump pump. This sump pump would pump the water in the crawlspace through the discharge line. The discharge line leads the water into the yard where it is drained. The line can become frozen or clogged in some situations. In order to prevent the water from backing up into the crawlspace, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard provides an escape route for the water so that it does not back up into the crawlspace. 

Jack M. of Weldon Spring, MO had water seeping into his basement. This water was threatening the home with mold. Woods Basement Systems was able to install products that would drain the water away.

Woods installed WaterGuard to help drain water out of the basement. WaterGuard is installed against the wall in the concrete of the floor. The water will flow into the WaterGuard, allowing the piping to lead the water out of the basement.

A sump pump was installed to evacuate unwanted water. The sump pump will pump the water out through a discharge line that leads the water to the yard. This line can become clogged or frozen at times, in order to prevent the water from receding back into the basement, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the discharge line next to the house and allows water to escape through it when it is necessary. 

Elizabeth K. of Weldon Spring, Missouri was experiencing trouble with water leaking into her basement at her discharge line. To keep the water out of the basement, system design specialist Walter C. designed a solution.

Foreman Bradly P. checked the discharge lines and installed a new one. To provide an exit for water in the event that the line would become frozen, IceGuard was installed. Elizabeth no longer has worries about water leaks in her basement.

Ralph S. of Weldon Spring, Missouri experienced water leaking into his basement where the floor meets the wall. The water seepage risked damage to his valuables and posed a concern for mold growth.

System design specialist Todd M. designed a solution to waterproof Ralph's basement. WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system, was installed by foreman Melvin F. WaterGuard guides water to the newly installed TripleSafe sump pump system. Triple safe is equipped with three pumps to ensure the basement stays dry.

Ralph now has no reason to be concerned with a wet, musty basement. He can enjoy his dry, odor-free living space.
