Your basement is an open hole, naturally the earth and water around it want ot fill the hole. This hyrdostatic pressure can wreck the foundation, especially the walls. This pressure can cause cracks and lead to leaks and even more serious issues. We have several ways to help keep your walls sturdy.
This homeowner needed a little extra wall support and waterproofing in his basement. Team Woods developed and installed the perfect solution for his needs.
Homeowners Don and Jean W. of Ashland, Illinois were dealing with a wet basement. They noticed water coming in where the floor meets the walls in the basement of their home. They wanted to fix the problem before any of their items were damaged by the rainwater. Once they made a call to Woods Basement Systems, the problem was fixed in no time! Foreman Luis Rivas and his team installed a complete waterproofing system in just one day. Now, the couple has peace of mind knowing their basement is dry for years to come.
Debbie R is worried about her foundation in the basement failing. The wall is bowing in, creating a large crack. To stabilize it and make sure no water gets in, Luis R and his crew installed PowerBrace to help support the foundation. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and repair the cracks. This will also bring the foundation back to its original position, and keep it there.
A CleanSpace Wall was also installed to prevent water vapor from coming in, making the walls clean and bright. It will also drain wall leaks down to the WaterGuard system, which was also installed to drain the water to the sump system. Debbie can now rest assured knowing that her foundation will forever be stabilized!
Homeowner Casey H. of Mascoutah, Illinois wanted to waterproof his basement. Rainwater was coming in at the floor/wall joint, as well as through the foundation walls of the space. He called Woods Basement Systems after a recommendation from a family friend.
Our foreman Luis Rivas and his team had the perfect solution for Casey’s basement. They kept the basement dry by installing CleanSpace on the walls of the basement. CleanSpace reduces moisture & humidity in crawl spaces and basements. Our team also installed products such as WaterGuard and TripleSafe to collect and send any rainwater out of the space.
A homeowner in Prairie Du Rocher, Illinois was alarmed to see water standing in his basement causing massive amounts of damage. From there he decided to call Woods Basement Systems for the best solution. This owner met Team Woods' system design specialist Brian S., who recommended the installation of a TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard, and a LandScape outlet.
Team Woods installed a TripleSafe sump unit right away. The TripleSafe unit is composed of three separate pumps for triple protection and features a battery backup unit to power the sumps in any condition. WaterGuard works to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It guides that water to the sump pump so it can be pumped out of the home. It is installed in the perimeter of a basement floor. The LandScape outlet is then connected to the sump pump discharge line, which allows the water to leave the home and not reenter.
Now this homeowner can rest easy knowing his basement will stay clean and dry for years to come.
Homeowner Theresa W. of Jennings, Missouri had a flooding basement. She was unable to use the space for living or storage areas because anything put in the space would be damaged by water. She called Woods Basement Systems after seeing their commercial on television. Luckily, foreman Luis Rivas and his team had the perfect solution for her basement and would install it in just one day. Our WaterGuard system sits on top of the footing at the floor/wall joint to collect any water that may try to enter the home.
