Josh joined Team Woods in July 2018. He has nine years of sales experience in the automotive industry and is certified for four major auto manufacturers. What excites Josh most about working for Woods Basement Systems is working for a family owned and operated company.
When he's not working, Josh enjoys spending time with his daughter. Some of their favorite activities include the St. Louis Zoo, Science Center, and the City Museum. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle and boating with family and friends. One thing you may be surprised to learn about Josh is that he loves to dance.
Nothing is worse than a loud, totally ineffective sump pump. Water can wreak havoc on a basement if the sump pump is not functional, so it is very important to have one that works well and works 100% of the time. This O'Fallon, Illinois homeowner's sump pump was not up to snuff. It was loud and wasn't working well, leading to flooding in his basement. A Woods Basement Systems team replaced the old pump with a brand new TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe comes equipped with three separate pump, including a battery backup, and is capable of removing over 10,000 gallons of water per hour. Clearly the TripleSafe is a cut above!
Don S. of Medora, Illinois was uneasy about his cracked, uneven concrete. His patio, driveway, and sidewalk were both unsafe and unsightly. Josh S., System Design Specialist, visited Don's home and designed a solution.
Foreman Melvin F. installed PolyLevel. PolyLevel lifts and levels the concrete and is a long-lasting solution. Additionally, the team installed Nexus Pro. Nexus Pro smooths the cracks and provides a clean, finished look to the concrete. With this solution, Don's sidewalk is now safe and appealing.
The front walkway of this Wildwood, Missouri home was uneven and cracked in several places. This was due to the underlying soil washing away over the years. In order to lift and level the walkway, a Woods Basement Systems team injected PolyLevel, an expanding composite foam, underneath the sunken slabs to level them and fill the cracks. Thanks to the quick-drying properties of PolyLevel, the walkway was ready to be walked on in just 30 minutes!
