Greg has excellent leadership skills from owning and operating his own buisness. Because of this, he has held two positions in his year and a half of service with Woods Basement Systems, Inc., one as a laborer and one as a foreman.
Greg's day to day position includes loading product and preparing the jobsite for the day, making sure his laborers are dressed properly and on time, as well as going over the contract and making sure everything is done correctly for the homeowner.
Greg loves how physically challenging his position is and how fast time flies while he is on a job. In his spare time, Greg spends time with his girlfriend, family, and takes care of is house.

This combination concrete block and poured foundation in Worden, Illinois leaked with almost every rain. The hollow, concrete blocks would fill up with water, and groundwater would seep through at the mortar joints as well as the joint where the block wall rested on the poured wall.
Woods Basement Systems repaired the wall by first drilling small "weep holes" every few feet in the bottom row of concrete block to alleviate the hydrostatic pressure inside and against the block wall. To drain the leaky block wall, the crew fastened the BrightWall basement wall system to the basement walls, draining any wall leaks into the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system—where it could then be pumped out and away from the basement.
The concrete block section of this foundation wall leaked at the transition joint between the block foundation and poured concrete wall. The block wall also leaked at pipe penetrations and other outlets along the wall.
By installing a perimeter drainage system and a vinyl wall covering to drain wall leaks to a nearby sump pump system, Woods Basement Systems helped make this Worden, Illinois basement brighter, dry, and usable.

The Drainage Matting is under the CleanSpace. It gives the water vapor that seeps in a surface to collect on and direct to the SmartSump. The CleanSpace keeps all the water vapor out of the crawl space environment while providing a brighter, cleaner surface.
The SmartSump will make sure any water collected gets removed from the space and away from the home.
Lucia can now use her crawl space for storage and not be afraid when she needs to go into the space.

The TripleSafe, which needed to be installed in the lowest point of the garage, has three pumps to keep the area totally dry. The battery-operated pump ensures that even in a power outage.
By using PolyLevel, we can level the area making it safer and better looking. It also makes sure the area drains correctly and does not lead to further foundation problems.

Shirley and Warren T. of Troy, IL unfortunately didn’t waterproof their basement before finishing it. Hidden leaks from their foundation walls had soaked and stained their carpet which took hours to dry out. The wood panelling on the bottom half of their walls was ruined so their called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
The WaterGuard drainage system was installed as part of that waterproofing system. WaterGuard is installed under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement, as can be seen in the picture.
