Greenup, Illinois resident Robert B. was troubled by his moldy crawl space. Water seepage in the crawl space caused mold, an allergen to many. To restore the crawl space, System Design Specialist Greg B. designed a solution.
Michael P., foreman, installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier. It prevents water from entering the basement, and because it is inorganic, it does not support mold growth. Robert is pleased to know his crawl space is dry and mold-free.
Urbana, Illinois homeowner Andrew did an at home radon test. When he results came back with high levels of Radon he gave Woods Basement Systems a call. System Design Specialist Greg B. developed the radon mitigation system plan that would work for his home.
Foreman Mike P. and his crew installed the system. Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer. The mitigation begins in the basement where the radon naturally comes in through the dirt.
The system works by using pipes and a fan to lead the gas out of the home and into the outdoor air. Here it can dissipate without issues.

Woods installed a new CleanSpace vapor barrier system into the musty crawl space.
