Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Egress Window and TripleSafe Installation

Homeowners Kathy and Richard L. of Olney, Illinois wanted to make some improvements in their basement. The windows in their basement were small and not allowing much light to enter the space. They wanted to have an egress window installed, as well as a new sump pump system to keep their basement dry during wet months. Woods Basement Systems had the perfect solutions for the couple. In just one day our team installed a new Egress window and TripleSafe sump pump system in the home.

The TripleSafe System

The old sump pump system was replaced by TripleSafe, ensuring that the water is pumped out of the home.

IceGuard was installed outside of the home.

Egress Window Well

Building codes require that finished basement living areas have an emergency egress - an egress window large enough to allow safe exit out of the space in case of an emergency. A large window well with a step in it must also be used outside the egress window.
