Basement Window Before
A look at the arear where we installed the new egress window.
Window Cut
We place a thick sheet of plastic within the cutout of the window to minimize any dust coming inside the finished basement while we work to install the egress window.
Old Drainage System
You can see the grate near the foundation of the house just below the window.
Installing New Discharge Line
Another view of our crew installing the new discharge line.
Discharge Line System
This customer wanted a new discharge line worked in while we were installing the egress window. We ran the sump pump discharge line into the landscaping discharge line. We also installed an IceGuard® to the top of the discharge line to keep the lines from freezing.
Installed Egress Window
We installed our Rockwell Egress Window which is design with safety in mind.
Egress Window Well Cover
The polycarbonate safety cover keeps leaves and debris out of your basement while allowing sunlight to enter. The polycarbonate covers can hold up to 500 pounds of weight, even though they were not designed for continuous foot traffic. This prevents family members from mistakenly falling into the window wells.
