Wildwood, MO homeowner Tanya F. had an old sump pump, which caused her to worry about the water damage she may encounter should it fail. She contacted Woods Basement Systems to learn about other options.

Design specialist Mike T. evaluated the home and determined that a TripleSafe sump pump equipped with a primary, secondary, and battery back up pump, would be the best solution. He also suggested replacing the discharge line and moving it to a new location.

Foreman Jose L. and his crew replaced the old pump with the new sump pump, installed the battery back up and discharge line, and included the IceGuard on the exterior of the home. This will prevent water from backing up in the basement should the exterior discharge line clog or freeze.

Tanya is now confident in the sump pump system in her basement.

Fast and Effective Concrete Lifting and Leveling

The major flaw of concrete is that the ground that it was poured on top of will inevitably shift and sink over time. In the states of Illinois and Missouri sinking concrete is all too common which is why our company has gone to great lengths to develop fast and effective concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel is a revolutionary product that is minimally invasive and not only lifts and levels concrete but also stabilizes it. The concrete lifting and leveling process begins with a few small holes drilled in the slab, then the PolyLevel polymer is poured into the holes. After only about 15 minutes the polymer is dry and the concrete is ready to be walked and even driven on. This concrete lifting and leveling technique is faster, less disruptive and arguably more effective than mud jacking which is the procedure PolyLevel replaces. To removed tripping hazards, stabilize concrete, and lift it back to a level height nothing is faster or more effective than PolyLevel. To schedule a FREE concrete lifting and leveling estimate contact us today!

We can Fix:
  • Sunken sidewalks
  • Sagging steps
  • Uneven patios
  • Sinking driveways

Adding More Wall Support

Terry B. from Grover, MO. had previously had wall supports installed to help keep his basement wall from bowing inward. Unfortunately, more sections of his wall were beginning to show signs of bowing as well.

To fix this, Terry turned to Woods Basement Systems. Foreman Dave P. was able to install additional wall supports to supplement the existing system. The wall anchors he installed use plates buried outside to help pull the wall into a supported and upright position permanently.

With the new wall anchors installed, Terry won't have to worry about his wall bowing inward anymore. The new anchors will work with the old ones to keep the foundation walls supported and strong.

Uneven Concrete Slabs Settled With PolyLevel In Grover, MO

Jan and Scott L. of Grover, MO noticed that the concrete slabs in the driveway of their home were settling unevenly. Over time, this can occur naturally as the result of concrete shifting, which can happen due to weight of the concrete itself in addition to the weight that the concrete has been holding up. Aware of the potential issues for those entering the home such as tripping, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate.

Systems Design Specialist Nolan M. evaluated the situation and determined that the appropriate solution would be for foreman Andrew T. to install PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a foam injection that is installed in 4 simple steps and works to lift the concrete back to its original position and fill in cracks.

Thanks to the installation of PolyLevel, Jan and Scott are longer concerned about the issues that the uneven driveway could cause for their home or themselves.

Foundation Crack Repair in Grover, MO

Andrew is a resident of Grover, MO.  When he noticed water seeping into his garage from a large foundation crack, he decided to call in professionals.  Remembering their commercial on TV, he called Woods Basement Systems.  He scheduled an appointment with Wood’s representative, Randy Pantano for a free estimate.

Randy informed Andrew that his foundation was thankfully still very stable.  He then suggested the FlexiSpan Wall Crack Repair System.  Andrew liked that Randy was so knowledgeable about the basement waterproofing industry.  He scheduled an appointment for the following week.

On May 13, 2011, William Harvie, and his crew, installed the three-step Flexi-Span process.  First, a flexible sealant was applied within the entire length of the crack, then a special porous foam over the top, and lastly a water-resistant membrane that works with the basement’s perimeter drainage system.

Today, Andrew’s basement is leak free due to this permanent leak repair process.  He is thankful for Randy’s honesty as well as Wood’s Basement Systems and their access to the industry leading products of Basement Systems.

Frozen Sump Pump Discharge Lines in Grover, MO

When Grover, MO resident, Jeff D. realized his sump pump was not working correctly, he did not hesitate to call in professionals.  After coming across Woods Basement Systems in his research, he scheduled an appointment for a free estimate.  Brian Cox arrived at Brian’s home on February 7, 2013.

After Brian’s systematic diagnoses, he told Jeff that his sump pump could not keep up with the freezing temperatures due to the discharge line freezing.  In one of the coldest months of the year, Jeff was not sure that there was a way to prevent this problem.  Then, Brian informed the homeowner on the innovative IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge Line System.  This system includes a certified sump pump by the nationwide Basement Systems Network as well as the Basement Systems IceGuard anti-freeze device.  Jeff was enthused that Woods Basement Systems had access to these advanced products & information.  He scheduled the installation for the following week.

On February 19th, Mr. Robinson and his crew completed the entire project in one day. Brian now has a new sump pump that collaborates with the anti-freeze device. His basement will no longer flood when the discharge lines freeze in brutal temperatures.

Dry & Insulated Basement in Grover, MO

Natosha of Grover, MO had noticed some watering seeping into her basement.  After a few months of this occurring and some personal items damaged, she decided to get some professional advice.  Researching online, she came across Woods Basement Systems & saw that they provided free estimates.  Wood’s representative, Norman Gansz scheduled a meeting with Natosha to diagnose her problem.

After a thorough assessment, Norman suggested that Natosha install an excess drainage system in the area where the water was seeping in.  After Natosha explained she had hopes to finish her basement in the future, he advised her on the ThermalDry Wall System which works hand in hand with the WaterGuard drainage system.  The homeowner was impressed with Norman’s knowledge in the basement waterproofing field & decided Woods Basement Systems was the one for the job.

On April 11, 2013, Melvin Foster & his crew arrived at Natosha’s residence.  They installed the WaterGuard system, which acts as an interior French drain.  Then, they covered the walls with a poly-sheet material, known as the ThermalDry Wall.  This product will not only direct access water seepage to the drainage system, but will also provide insulation.  The entire job was completed the same day, and Natosha was astonished.

Today, she is enjoying her dry basement.  She can now finish her basement with confidence that there will be no water damage.

Project Location: Grover, MO
Last Thursday 4/4 we found out that our finished basement had taken on water throughout most of the carpeted and unfinished closet / storage areas. We were out of town from Thursday 3/28 to Sunday 3/31 and believe it may have been from the heavy rains in the area on Saturday 3/30. We need to determine where the water came from and how to keep this from happening again. We have pulled up about 50% of the carpeted area and removed the soaked padding, we have furniture and things stored in the other half as it didn't appear to be wet or as wet. We have had 2 commercial blowers and a dehumidifier running since last Thursday to dry things out. We are looking for company that can determine the cause and fix the problem. Please advise how your services work, thanks!
