Challenge

Waterproofing an earth home, well think about it, it is 85% under ground. Most basements will leak at some time because they are under ground. How can the builder know that the walls and floor will stay dry, all undergroud?

Solution

WaterGuard® at the interior perimeter of the earth home allow for any possible wall leaks to get to its drainage system and to the sump pump. It also makes a pathway for water coming through the wall/ footing seam and does not let that water get on top of the basement floor. We also utilized the traditional drain tile for under the floor in several locations back and forth under the slab floor. Several sump pumps were also installed with battery back-ups.
