How to Keep Your Dry Basement Dry

So, you’ve fixed the leaky basement problem and now your basement is dry.  Congrats!  But you can still go the extra mile.  What ever situation you find yourself in, you MUST have a backup plan.  Do you want to make sure your basement stays dry ALL the time rather than most of the time?

So you have a nice working sump pump, what happens if it were to fail?  The pump can’t continue working if the power went out or a circuit was blown.  What do you do?  You make sure your sump pump has a battery back-up system.  This is just like our Triple Safe Pump.  It contains three pumps to keep the basement dry.  The first pump operates like a regular pump, if that one were to fail the second pump would take over.  If there is a lot of water that was coming into the pump and the first one couldn’t keep up, pump one and two would work together.  Lastly, if the power were to go out, your basement is still protected with the third pump.  This is the battery operated one that also comes with an automatic charging system to make sure the system never fails.

In addition to this product, ThermalDry is a floor system that transforms your cold, damp, hard concrete floors into beautiful, dry, comfortable floors.  These floors contain pegs on the bottom to create an air space that keeps water vapor from getting trapped underneath.  ThermalDry also doesn’t contain any organic material to support mold growth.  One of the best things about this is that it comes in five different forms.  You can get two carpet options as well as three washable tiles.  They are all neutral colors to match any style you are looking to create.

The last product you can get is the SaniDry system.  This is a powerful and effective dehumidifier that eliminates moisture in the air.  It automatically drains the water out of a hose so you’ll never have to empty it.  Doesn’t that sound easy?  SaniDry can remove 10 times the moisture in the air while using the same amount of energy as a regular household dehumidifier.

By installing these three products, there is no way moisture will get into your basement.  This is how to keep your dry basement dry.
