The Solution to Leaky Window Wells

First, the window well is cleaned on the outside and filled with clean stone and a grate.  Then a small hole is drilled through the wall to the inside just below the window sill.  This allows the water to drain out of the wall and through the small hole.  If the basement has a block foundation, the drain hole is sleeved with a pipe to prevent the water from going down into the wall.  The water runs down inside the WellDuct track to the waterproofing system, where it is carried to the sump pump and out and away from the home.
