Woods Awarded 2011 Remodeler of Distinction for Structural Renovation

The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Southwest Illinois has awarded Woods Basement Systems the 2011 Remodeler of Distinction Award for Structural Renovation.

On Friday, January 20, 2012, the HBA of Greater Southwest Illinois hosted the 2011 Remodelers of Distinction Awards at the Villa Marie Winery & Banquet Center in Maryville, IL.  Home improvement projects were reviewed by category, and a panel of judges unaffiliated with the HBA selected the winners. The Remodelers Council awarded contractors in the following categories: additions, bathrooms, kitchens, interiors/basements, exteriors, green, and structural.

Woods Basement Systems won the Structural Renovation award for a project in Granite City, IL where three out of four block basement walls were cracked, severely bowed, and leaking water.  Woods straightened and restored the foundation walls with the Foundation Supportworks wall anchor system, stabilizing and securing the structure.
