Basement Finishing Expert in Illinois Fundraises For Relay For Life 2011

Collinsville, IL - Woods Basement Systems, an avid supporter of finding a cure for cancer, held a fundraising and awareness event to help support the Collinsville Relay For Life event being held May 13, 2011.

The fundraising event was held at the Collinsville American Legion and offered dinner and dancing. Live music was provided by Rhythm Watch, a group of musicians well known for their diverse and prominent capabilities.

Woods utilizes such events for entertaining the community all the while raising awareness about cancer and accepting donations for the Collinsville Relay for Life event.

This past year, the teams involved with the Collinsville Relay for Life were able to raise over $70,000. Woods, along with the other teams, are hoping to break this marker and raise over $100,000 for the 2011 relay.

The upcoming relay is scheduled for May 13, 2011 from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. It's a time to celebrate survivors and rally supporters together to support the cancer research that will one day find a cure to this destructive disease.
