Cuba, Missouri resident William L. was displeased with his wet crawl space. The moisture was caused mold and rotting threatening the foundation and releasing allergens into his home.
System design specialist Kevin E. designed a solution to keep his crawl space dry. First, the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System was installed. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that keeps moisture out of the crawlspace.
In addition to CleanSpace, foreman James L. also installed the SaniDry CX. SaniDry is an energy efficient dehumidifier. With SaniDry, relative humidity is kept low, so mold is unable to grow.
With the installation of CleanSpace and SaniDry, William no longer has any need for conern in regards to his crawl space. It is free of rot and mold, reducing the allergens in his home.
Pamela and Kurt L. of Fisk, Missouri were troubled by the water leaking into their basement where the floor meets the wall. The water risked damaging their valubales. System design specialist Paul B. designed a solution to keeo the basement dry.
Foreman Juan H. installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard guides water to the TripleSafe sump pump system. TripleSafe is equipped with a main pump, backup pump and battery-powered pump to ensure the basement stays dry. In addition to WaterGuard and TripleSafe, IceGuard was installed. IceGuard provides an exit for water in the event that the discharge lines become clogged or frozen.
The basement of Heidi S.’s Poplar Bluff, MO was under construction but an alarming amount of water kept getting into the basement which made construction impossible. There was already an old sump pump in place but it was no longer working. Heidi didn’t want the water to be an even bigger issue once her basement was complete so she called Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate. Design Specialist Chris G. inspected the basement and recommended installing a waterproofing system.
WaterGuard was installed underneath the foundation floors of the basement. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that collects water from the foundation walls, using a special wall flange, and floors of the basement and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.
The Twin Pack sump pump system replaced the old, rusted sump pump. It contains two powerful cast iron pumps so even if the primary pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water coming in, the secondary pump will kick in and keep pumping water out and away from the basement through the discharge lines. On the outside of the home, IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines. IceGuards have slotted openings for water to escape if the lines have become frozen or clogged, rather than coming back into the basement.
Construction can continue on Heidi S.’s basement and she has the peace of mind that water won’t be an issue in the future after it’s finished.

Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is situated on top of the concrete footing of the home so it’s out of the way of mud and debris that might clog it as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement and drains it to the sump pump.
The Twin Pack was installed to take the water from the WaterGuard and eject it out and away from the basement through its discharge lines. The Twin Pack contains two powerful, cast-iron pumps to protect the basement from water intrusion from light drizzles and severe thunderstorms.
On the exterior of the home, IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines. IceGuards are designed to keep water from backing up into the basement if the discharge lines become frozen or clogged by snow during winter months. They feature perforations that offer trapped water an alternative escape route into the yard.
