A concrete Driveway was sinking in Golden Eagle, IL, causing the slabs to sink and become uneven. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was first installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. Additionally, NexusPro Joint Sealant was installed. This will seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. It will provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. These systems will improve the safety of the concrete and restore peace of mind for years to come!

Water was entering a basement in Batchtown, IL, causing significant damage to it. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was first installed. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it from the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out, and effectively pumps out the water. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona was installed. This efficient, high-capacity, dehumidification system also includes an air filtration system, all in a single unit. This system wrings the air dry, and its powerful blower moves the dry air in and around the area. It also automatically drains the water it catches into the TripleSafe, so there is no need to empty any bucket with this system. This basement will forever stay dry thanks to these systems!

One Webster Groves home has been through at least three different homeowners, but it was the latest homeowner who inherited and finally decided to resolve his wet basement problem.
When William D. purchased his home, the basement included two existing sump pump systems. Unfortunately, the two sump pumps were not enough to keep his basement dry. Hydrostatic pressure on the exterior caused the basement walls to crack and leak, groundwater would seep in between the walls and floor, and rainwater would run underneath the basement door and across the basement floor. Moisture penetrating the basement walls caused paint to crack and chip. Eventually, his existing sump pumps failed. Standing water jeopardized items stored in the basement and threatened to ruin William's valuables.
William's story changed the moment he called Woods Basement Systems. He met with System Design Specialist Rich Obermeier, who carefully inspected William's basement and thoroughly discussed William's goals. Foreman Michael Jones, Jr. completely removed the failed sump pumps and installed a brand-new TripleSafe sump pump system, including two primary pumps and a third battery backup sump pump to keep William's basement dry all the time. The crew also installed WaterGuard along the basement perimeter to drain groundwater seepage from the wall-floor joint directly to the sump pump.
William's project also included the IceGuard sump pump discharge line system to prevent his sump pump discharge pipes from freezing in the winter. William is very impressed with his system, the crew, and our company. Today, he's free to use his basement for storage and will never have to worry about groundwater leaks again!
Susan from Breese woke up one morning to a strange pungent smell in her house. She searched all over her house to try and find the source of the smell. Susan looked and looked every place she could think of. Susan finally looked at her crawlspace and she found the smell. It was mold growing on the wood of her crawlspace. Susan decided to call Woods Basement Systems.
Michael inspected the house and came up with a solution. The solution was to install a CleanSpace waterproofing seal in the crawlspace. This will seal the moisture that is coming in from the ground below. Michael also added in a drainage system to drain into a sump pump. This is to help get any water out of the crawlspace that my either come in during the summer or water that will rise from the dirt floor.
A Woods Basement Systems Production team came out and installed the new CleanSpace and a sump pump. With this system in place Susan has not worried or smelled mold inside of her house.

Michael and Mary S. of Ellisville, MO had climate control issues in his crawlspace. The climate is keeping the space damp and threatening the home with mold and rotting wood. Woods Basement Systems had the perfect products to help Michael and Mary with their problem.
CleanSpace was installed to help seal off the crawlspace. This seal will prevent outside water from seeping into the space and making it damp. If your crawlspace stays dry, there will be a reduced chance of mold and rotting wood.
A drainage mat was installed under the CleanSpace to drain away any unwanted water that may be standing in the crawlspace. Vent covers were also installed for additional sealing. These covers create an air tight seal and do not allow water or moisture into the crawlspace.
Woods also installed a SaniDry. The SaniDry system filters moisture out of the air and makes the crawlspace less humid. Controlling the humidity in the crawlspace is important to preventing mold. The less moisture, the harder it is for the mold to grow.
A sump pump was installed to evacuate unwanted water. The sump pump will pump the water out through a discharge line that leads the water to the yard. This line can become clogged or frozen at times, in order to prevent the water from receding back into the crawlspace, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the discharge line next to the house and allows water to escape through it when it is necessary.

Foreman James L. and his crew installed a system, including CleanSpace with drainage matting, a SmartPump, Rim Joist spray foam, and Vent Covers, to solve the problem.
CleanSpace is a top product for reducing crawl space moisture. It is an anti-microbial vapor barrier that covers the floor and walls of the crawl space. It stops the water vapor coming through the dirt and porous walls from getting into the crawl space sir. With drainage matting, the vapor collected will be directed to the SmartPump sump pump, instead of pooling under the barrier.
The SmartPump will be sure that any water that gets into the crawl space is redirected a safe distance away from the home to cause no more problems.
The Vent Covers seal off the crawl space from the elements and critters, creating its own environment instead of being in tune with the outdoors.
Michael can now use his crawl spaces for storage, have cleaner air in his home, and not be afraid to get work done in the space.
Kevin, a homeowner in St. Louis, Missouri, had noticed cracks in his basement walls. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Chris T. developed a plan to lift their garage.
Foreman Jose L. installed the Push Piers along the side of the garage that was beginning to settle. Push Piers are steel rods that are driven into the ground beneath the structure until they hit solid soil or bedrock. By transferring the weight from moving soil to a solid surface, we can reverse the settling and prevent future settling.
Kevin B. now has a sturdy garage that will be stable for decades to come.

Foreman, Juan H. installed the products. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that is made of inorganic materials, so it does not support mold growth. It is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls and sends it to the WaterGuard. WaterGuard is installed in the basement floor below CleanSpace the catch the water it collects and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
Now Gene S. has a dry, safe basement.

Anytime it rained, a stream of water would run onto the floor from the base of the wall. Because he was interested in selling his home, he needed the problem solved, and he called Woods Basement Systems.
Foreman Kevin J. and his team began their work by installing WaterGuard, a drainage system that sits under the floor at the base of the wall and collects any and all water that makes it into the basement. Next, they installed a TripleSafe sump pump. Equipped with three independendently operating pumps, one of which is a battery-operated backup, it can handle over 20,000 gallons of water per hour. The last improvement, IceGuard, was installed outside on the discharge line to prevent any freezing issues. Michael's basement is now as totally dry!
Brussels, Illinois homeowner Edward K. suspected that his garage foundation was sinking, as he noticed several large cracks forming in the garage's floor. Wanting to address the problem before it could get any worse, he called Woods Basement systems.
In order to lift the sunken foundation, foreman Brad and his team installed two galvanized steel Low-Profile Push Piers underneath the garage. They were inserted into small holes adjacent to the foundation and then adjusted to raise and level it. Capable of supporting many tons of weight, these supports will remain in place to provide support for the life of the structure!
Homeowner Claudia of Innsbrook, Missouri was having moisture issues in her finished basement. She noticed that water was coming from behind a section of drywall and pooling on the floor. Because she was worried about the damage that this water might cause, Claudia called Woods Basement Systems.
In order to waterproof the space, foreman Michael and his team had to first cut away the bottom portion of the wet drywall to get to the source of the water. After this, they installed a WaterGuard drainage system under the floor at the base of the leaking foundation wall to catch water and prevent it from making it onto the floor. Claudia could have avoided costly repairs and extra work had she waterproofed BEFORE finishing her basement!

Anytime it rained for an extended period of time, water would make its way through cracks in the walls and pool on the floor. The couple were tired of constantly having to clean the basement, so they called Woods Basement Systems for help.
In order to waterproof the space, foreman Jose and his team installed a WaterGuard drainage system. These gutter-like drains are placed under the floor at the base of the leaking walls to catch any and all water and prevent it from reaching the space itself. Brooke and Bryan's basement is now totally dry and they couldn't be happier!
Allen and Jen K. of Granite City, Illinois were interested in repairing their concrete driveway. Over the years, much of the underlying soil had washed away in the the rain, causing several of the slabs to sink and crack. This damage was both ugly and unsafe, and the couple called Woods Basement Systems for help.
In order to repair the damaged concrete, foreman Malik and his team used PolyLevel, an expanding composite foam. This was injected underneath the sunken slabs through tiny holes in the surface to lift them and fill in the cracks. Because of PolyLevel's quick-drying properties, the driveway was ready to be driven on in just 30 minutes!
Mt. Vernon, Illinois homeowner Michael P. was concerned about the state of his basement walls. Over the years, pressure from the surrounding soil had caused them to be riddled with large cracks and several had even begun to bow inward. Michael worried that, if left unchecked, this damage might eventually lead to a total wall collapse.
In order to reinforce the damaged walls, a Woods Basement Systems team installed several GeoLock wall supports. These work by connecting heavy anchors buried deep in the firm soil far from the home to steel plates affixed to the interior surface of the damaged walls, effectively pulling them outward and straightening them over time.
Sump pumps, like anything with a motor, will eventually need to be repaired or replaced. If these pumps are not cared for or replaced it can increase the chances that the basement will flood.
That's why homeowner Dan B. from Wentzville, MO. hired Woods Basement Systems to inspect the sump pump system in his home. Todd G. was sent to check the sump pump, as well as the other waterproofing and basement support systems. During his inspection, Todd examined the pump and discharge line and determined that it was time for a new sump pump. He was able to replace the pump during that same appointment so that there was no downtime where the basement did not have a sump pump and could potentially flood.
Todd G. also took the opportunity to inspect the wall support system in place in the basement to make sure it was still functional and strong. Dan B. was smart not to wait until it was too late and scheduled his maintenance inspection to keep his basement dry and safe.
