This concrete sealing system is resistant to moisture, oil, UV rays, abrasions, and more.

Mike & Trish, residents in Eureka, were concerned about their homes foundation issues. To ensure a safe and valuable home, they called Woods Basement Systems inquiring about solutions. The couple met with David Palmer, who thoroughly assessed their home & advised them what to do.
They decided on the installation of the Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System that would prevent their bowed walls from getting worse as well as help straighten them over time. They also needed new expansion joints to reduce the stress the foundation was enduring.
Foreman Jeremy Raby & his crew started this large project on April 2nd, 2015. It took them about a week to complete the job and the couple was enthused on how quick it went by. Today, their home has obtained more value and more importantly, has a safe & stabilized foundation.
Ballwin couple, Kevin & Sue, were tired of dealing with their basement flooding every time it rained. Their waterproofing system was not working and they could not figure out why. Realizing they absolutely needed the space for storage, they were referred to Woods Basement Systems by a friend.
On September 11th, 2012, System Design Specialist, David Palmer met with the couple to diagnose their issue. David explained that the water was seeping through their walls, floors, and joints between them. He informed them that their original waterproofing system seemed to be clogged. This could be fixed, but he warned them it probably would not be long-lasting. He then suggested a permanent solution, the WaterGuard system. Kevin & Sue were instantly appealed to the fact that it was a non-clogging pipe system that does not rot. After doing more research on the products of Basement Systems, they decided that they wanted BrightWall panels to enhance the aesthetics of the dark, bare basement walls. Three days after their meeting with David, foreman Chris Armstrong and his crew arrived to save their basement.
Just in one day, the new interior drainage system was installed. The WaterGuard system is barely noticeable as it is hidden beneath a layer of concrete, which enthused the couple. The BrightWall panels, which were designed to work hand in hand with the WaterGuard system, has transformed their basement from a damp & dark room to a bright & open area that is perfect for neat and dry storage. Kevin & Sue could not be happier with their new basement and continue to reference Woods Basement Systems to their friends.
After a long rainstorm, Peggy & Rod noticed that water was leaking into their basement from various areas. Without hesitation, they asked some friends who to call. They were referred to Woods Basement Systems, and scheduled an appointment on September 25,2014 with David Palmer, a System Design Specialist.
Being very familiar with wet basement issues, David did not take long in diagnosing the couple’s problem. David explained that their sill plate was slowly rotting away and causing minor leakage. Also, their downspout was channeling too much water at the corner of their foundation. Unfortunately, if these were not fixed in the near future, they would continue to get worse. The couple scheduled for a crew to come the following week.
Foreman Reginald Bradford and his crew installed the Sill Plate Draintile System to fix their rotting sill plate. Then, they installed a LawnScape Outlet that acts as a downspout extension to direct the drainage away from the foundation. The couple was enthused that the job was completed in one day. Today, they are enjoying their leak-free basement with confidence their storage will not be damaged every time it rains.
In Moweaqua, IL, homeowners, Tami and Brandon S contacted Woods Basement Systems about sump pumps. It was determined that a Twin Pack sump pump would help in protecting their basement. A WaterGuard system was also installed to help direct water to the Twin Pack sump pump. Tami and Brandon have piece of mind knowing their basement is protected from water damage.
To protect her basement from water damage, JoAnn M contacted Woods Basement Systems for a solution. It was determined a WaterGuard system was to be installed. Knowing her basement is protected from water damage gives JoAnn piece of mind.

Woods also installed vent covers for additional sealing. These create an air tight seal preventing moisture from seeping through into the crawlspace.
Woods installed a sump pump that would help remove the water from the crawlspace. The sump pump will pump the water out of the crawlspace into the yard through a discharge line.
Dan B. in Taylorvile, IL was experiencing a damp crawlspace. He knew that if the crawlspace did not dry out, it could soon start to rot the wood and grow mold. Dan called Woods Basement Systems to find a solution.

A Twin Pack sump pump was installed to provide escape for any unwanted water in the space. Water that may still get into the space will be pumped out through a discharge line that leads the yard. If this line becomes frozen or backed up, IceGuard will prevent the water from receding back into the crawlspace.

Systems Design Specialist Matthew S. evaluated the situation and determined that the concrete was sinking and settling unevenly, which was the cause of the cracking. PolyLevel is a foam injection that is installed directly into the concrete, and lifts it back to its original position. Since the installation of PolyLevel, Thomas no longer has to worry about the danger of his home or anyone entering it.
Mario and Norma A. of Eureka, MO noticed that their driveway was sinking. Concerned by what they saw, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate.

Gene D. of Taylorville, IL took care of his problematic dirt crawlspace in the past with our incapsulating system called CleanSpace™. With CleanSpace™ installed, Gene wouldn't have to worry about water seeping in through the dirt floor or walls and damaging the bottom of his home.
The final step in ensuring his crawlspace was dry and clean was adding a Sedona™ dehumidifier. This dehumidifier will pull water vapor from the air, where it could condense on cooler surfaces or damage the wooden joists and safely dispel it into the sump pump system where it can be pumped out of the home. It will also filter the air, cleaning it of any pesky mold spores or dust mites.
Gene's home is protected from water coming from both below ground and the air thanks to CleanSpace™ and the SaniDry™ dehumidifier.
Most crawlspaces are made with dirt floors that do nothing to block water from entering the crawlspace. In situations where water levels rise, like during a rainstorm, water can build up beneath the home in the crawlspace. From there, water can evaporate up into the home, making the home feel damp and uncomfortable. Water pooling up in the crawlspace can also lower the energy efficiency of the home, produce smells that would rise up into the living spaces, create habitats for pests like mosquitos and worst of all, feed mold growth around the home. All of these things can devalue the home and negatively impact the health of the homeowners. That's why all of these are reasons to waterproof a crawlspace.
For this crawlspace in Stonington, IL., the homeowners had Woods Basement Systems install a drainage system. A sump pump was installed in a strategic location where it could naturally gather water as it rises into the crawlspace. The sump pump was supplemented with drainage pipes that would extend throughout the crawlspace to collect water before it reached the surface and drain it into the sump pump. From there, the sump pump would remove the water through the discharge lines and pour it outside, far away from the home, where it wouldn't be able to cause problems for the homeowners.
The drainage system installed in this crawlspace in Stonington, IL. will help prevent water from building up beneath the home and causing a multitude of problems. To see what other systems can be used to protect a crawlspace call Woods Basement Systems to schedule a free, no-obligation estimate and learn more about how to protect your home.
Sump pumps and drainage systems are great at keeping basements dry and protecting basements from flooding. But sometimes a basement feels damp and cave-like because the moisture is in the air. The best sump pump systems in the world can't pull water out of the air.
That's why the Sedona dehumidifier is the perfect addition for basements that still feel damp. The Sedona is so effective that it can drain over 12 gallons of water from the air in just a single day. What's more, it runs on the same amount of power as dehumidifiers that drain less than half as much!
If that wasn't reason enough to choose the Sedona, it can also filter tiny particles out of the air. Things that might affect the health of the home or the residents like mold spores, dust mites or even dust mite droppings. The air will not only be drier, but healthier too.
All the moisture that the Sedona collects gets drained into the TripleSafe™ sump pump system to be pumped out of the home. That means the homeowners won't even have to empty collection buckets to keep the dehumidifier running. And the TripleSafe™ system will be able to handle the extra water with its two powerful main pumps and a third, battery powered pump that can expell water out of the basement in even the heaviest of rainfalls.
The floors of this basement will be kept dry thanks to the TripleSafe™ sump pump system while the air is dried by the Sedona dehumidifier. That's a protected basement.
This home in Taylorville, IL. was experiencing foundation wall troubles thanks to the pressures from expanding soils around the home. As the weather changes, soil will naturally expand and contract. This expansion pushes against the foundation walls and can cause cracking, leaning or bowing. In this home, the foundation walls were beginning to crack and lean inward.
To fix this problem, homeowner Casey V. reached out to Woods Basement Systems to install their foundation support products. Installer Michael R. was able to install wall anchors to support and straighten the walls. Wall anchors work by attaching a metal plate inside the home to an anchor plate buried outside with a steel rod. The connection on this rod is tightened, pulling the inside plate toward the anchor plate. This pulling force counters the pushing force of the expanding soil and permanently supports the weakened walls. In many cases, this system can even be used to straighten the walls back to their original position.
With the wall anchors permanently supporting the foundation walls, Casey V. won't have to worry about inward leaning walls anymore.

Our system design specialist, Chris S., knew that a CleanSpace Wall System and WaterGuard, along with a few other systems, would be a great solution to their problem. WaterGuard is a sub-ground piping system that directs water directly into the sump pump so it can be effectively removed from the basement. CleanSpace Wall Systems are a great way to stop water vapor, while also making the basement appear brighter and more welcoming. Once our foreman, Sadon B., and his crew installed these systems, Carolyn and Mary can enjoy a dry basement that they can use for space and storage.
