By spreading PowerBraces out along the wall we can redistribute the hydrostatic pressure from the wall to the braces adding extra support and preventing more bowing.
The PowerBraces are anchored between floor joists in the ceiling of the basement to have the strongest possible holding.
Filling cracks may help the look of them but, they will continue to come back until something is done about the cause.
PowerBraces work by being anchored at the top and the bottom of the wall. We can then pull the wall back and hold it there with the PowerBrace.
Your basement is an open hole, naturally the earth and water around it want ot fill the hole. This hyrdostatic pressure can wreck the foundation, especially the walls. This pressure can cause cracks and lead to leaks and even more serious issues. We have several ways to help keep your walls sturdy.
