Wall Anchor System
The anchor installed in the soil outside the home features a steel rod that extends through the ground and is securely fastened to the basement foundation wall using heavy-duty steel plates, as shown in this image. This connection helps stabilize the wall, holding it in place, and preventing movement.
Anchor Covers
In a finished basement, a good thing to add to a system is a removeable anchor cover. The two white covers shown on the wall in this image are removeable covers that are an option for homeowners who want to cover up the steel wall anchor.
Exterior Access
To repair a basement foundation wall using our anchor system, the basement must have plenty of exterior room in the lawn for anchor installation. This home is a good example of what is eligible for using wall anchors. If the home does not have enough space on the exterior for the anchor system, that's totally okay, a different wall support system will be implemented.
