There were hidden leaks behind the wooden walls in the finished basement of Don and Kathleen W.’s High Ridge, MO home. Years of repeated water intrusion had damaged the finished walls and floors of the basement and made them an eyesore so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.

Woods replaced the wooden walls with BrightWall panels. BrightWall panels are made from riigid white plastic. They are waterproof so they work with the waterproofing system by forming a moisture barrier over the foundation walls. They prevent moisture from entering the basement, instead guiding it down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. BrightWall Panels are also maintenance-free and give the basement a much brighter, cleaner appearance.

Fast and Effective Concrete Lifting and Leveling

The major flaw of concrete is that the ground that it was poured on top of will inevitably shift and sink over time. In the states of Illinois and Missouri sinking concrete is all too common which is why our company has gone to great lengths to develop fast and effective concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel is a revolutionary product that is minimally invasive and not only lifts and levels concrete but also stabilizes it. The concrete lifting and leveling process begins with a few small holes drilled in the slab, then the PolyLevel polymer is poured into the holes. After only about 15 minutes the polymer is dry and the concrete is ready to be walked and even driven on. This concrete lifting and leveling technique is faster, less disruptive and arguably more effective than mud jacking which is the procedure PolyLevel replaces. To removed tripping hazards, stabilize concrete, and lift it back to a level height nothing is faster or more effective than PolyLevel. To schedule a FREE concrete lifting and leveling estimate contact us today!

We can Fix:
  • Sunken sidewalks
  • Sagging steps
  • Uneven patios

It collects water from the foundation walls and floors using its walls flanges and channel holes and drains it to the sump pump.

The TripleSafe was installed to remove the water collected by the drainage system from the basement through its discharge lines. The TripleSafe consists of three pumps, including a battery back up pump, to provide protection from rainy weather ranging from light drizzles to severe thunderstorms that cause power outages.

IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines leading from the exterior of the home to prevent water from backing up into the basement if the lines become frozen or clogged. IceGuards feature perforations that give water an alternative escape route to the yard.

Concerned there may be some foundation settling occurring. Have noticed a crack in one wall inside - a door (that same area) has "stuck" off and on - often just thought humidity - but recently very difficult to open once closed - possible that space forming between garage door frame and wall - have no experience with such things but something's up and I don't think I can ignore it any longer would appreciate a professional opinion. Appointment best set for evenings or weekends. Can also call me at work to schedule a time.
