Fast and Effective Concrete Lifting and Leveling

The major flaw of concrete is that the ground that it was poured on top of will inevitably shift and sink over time. In the states of Illinois and Missouri sinking concrete is all too common which is why our company has gone to great lengths to develop fast and effective concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel is a revolutionary product that is minimally invasive and not only lifts and levels concrete but also stabilizes it.

How PolyLevel works:

  1. The concrete lifting and leveling process begins with a few small holes drilled in the slab.
  2. Then the PolyLevel polymer is injected into the holes and expands to provide an accurate lift.
  3. After only about 15 minutes the polymer is dry and the concrete is ready to be walked and even driven on.

This concrete lifting and leveling technique is faster, less disruptive, and arguably more effective than mud jacking, which is the standard that PolyLevel replaces. We even offer SealantPro concrete sealing, which extends slabs' lifespans by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. This concrete sealing system is resistant to moisture, oil, UV rays, abrasions, and more.

To remove tripping hazards, stabilize concrete, and lift it back to a level height nothing is faster or more effective than PolyLevel concrete leveling. After, our concrete sealing system will preserve your slabs for a lifetime. To schedule a FREE concrete lifting and leveling or concrete sealing estimate, contact us today!

We can Fix:
  • Sunken sidewalks
  • Sagging steps
  • Uneven patios
  • Sinking driveways

University of Illinois Extension Basement Waterproofed in Jacksonville, IL

The finished basement of the building that housed Morgan County Extension of the University of Illinois in Jacksonville, IL flooded several inches. The flooding had left a massive mess in the meeting rooms that required hours of clean up and threatened the many items stored in the basement.  The director of the extension, Aaron D., was worried about more damage so he called Woods Basement Systems. After thoroughly inspecting the basement, Design Specialist Chris T. determined that the best solution would be a waterproofing system.

Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. Woods installed two TripleSafe sump systems to accept the water from the WaterGuard and eject it out and away from the basement through its discharge lines. Each TripleSafe contains three pumps, including battery back up pumps, to ensure the basement stays dry, even in heavy downpours or power outages.

IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines on the exterior of the building. The perforations on the IceGuards were designed to allow trapped water escape to the yard if the lines become frozen to prevent it from getting back into the basement.

Director Aaron D. has peace of mind that the building’s basement will stay dry and they can continue to use it for a meeting space and storage.
