Over time foundations can settle causing floors to sink. That’s why Brent A called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Chris S was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Joshua B installed a SmartJack Assembly under Brent’s home. The SmartJack will rest on a level of stable soil and support the portion of the home that is sinking. Over time the SmartJack will raise the home back to where it is supposed to be.
Ron B. of New Madrid, Missouri was shocked to learn that his home's crawl space was holding water. He knew standing water could cause mold growth and rotting, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist assessed the problem and decided the best option was to install a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a SaniDry CX dehumidifier, and a EverLast access well and door. Foreman Josh B. then traveled to the home to get the job started.
The CleanSpace encapsulation system was placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains any leaks that may occur behind it. The SaniDry CX is a powerful dehumidifier that fits perfectly in the crawl space. It removes any water vapor from the air of the crawl space. Finally, the EverLast access well and door work together to prevent water from entering the crawl space. The door provides an airtight seal to the crawl space, while the access well keeps water and debris away from the door.
Ron B. no longer has to worry about his home's crawl space flooding. He now has a dry and waterproof crawl space.
New Madrid, Missouri homeowner Sam was frustrated with his current crawl space. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and Team Woods developed a plan for him.
Foreman Miguel O. and his crew installed everything needed for a dry, clean crawl space.
Starting with installing WaterGuard to collect water from below, behind, and down the wall and redirect it to the sump pump. BY doing this we can move the water instead of the floor. Our design prevents clogging from dirt and debris.
CleanSpace with drainage matting is another way to add water direction. We cover the surfaces to keep water vapor trapped inside and the drainage matting directs the collected water to the sump pump.
Leading the WaterGuard and drainage matting to the TripleSafe is the surest way to a dry basement. With the primary, secondary, and third pump kicking on when each other needs help we can keep the water out for good.
Paired with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the air dry and allergen free we can keep the crawl space air safe for breathing and comfortable for working.
Sam now has a crawl space he can use and know the air coming into his home through that area is clean.
For years, water would stream through the basement window frames of this Matthews, Missouri home during periods of rain. The homeowner had attempted to wall off his windows from the outside, but to no avail. The constant moisture was causing mold growth and water damage, and something had to be done.
In order to waterproof the basement, a Woods Basement Systems team began by installing under-floor WaterGuard drains at the base of the walls around the perimeter of the basement to catch any and all leaks and prevent them from making it onto the floor. After this, a CleanSpace vapor barrier was put in place to cover the walls and seal them away from the basement. This inorganic material prevents mold growth and keeps water out of the space, as well as giving the basement a nice, clean look. Finally, a TripleSafe sump pump was installed to remove all of the water collected by the WaterGuard drains.
Don F. of Matthews, Missouri was having issues with water in his basement. It would run down his walls whenever it rained, and the constant leaks made it difficult to make effective use of the space. Wanting his basement to be dry for good, Don gave Woods Basement Systems a call.
Greg, foreman, and his team began the waterproofing process by installing a WaterGuard system in the basement. WaterGuard drains are placed underneath the floor at the base of the walls and are designed to catch any and all leaks, preventing them from making it onto the floor and into the space. A TripleSafe sump pump, equipped with three independently operating pumps and capable of removing over 10,000 gallons of water per hour, was also put in place to pump away the leaks caught by the WaterGuard drains. Don no longer has to worry about his basement flooding!
Jimmy F. of Portageville, Missouri was concerned with the sagging floors in his home. His house was built on top of a crawl space, and Jimmy suspected that rain water had washed away much of the dirt in the space, causing the floors to sink. He wanted an expert opinion, so he called Woods Basement Systems.
System design specialist Sam visited Jimmy's home and determined that, over time, moisture in the crawl space had badly damaged and rotted many of the floor joists. These joists were no longer equipped to support the weight of the home, and they needed to addressed. In order to support the floors, a Woods team began by installing several steel PowerBrace beams underneath the joists and parallel to the floor to provide a solid foundation for the final product, Smart Jacks. Several Smart Jacks, capable of supporting well over 60,000 pounds each, were affixed to the beams to keep the joists level. Jimmy couldn't be happier!
In Lilbourn, Illinois homeowner Jami H. was concerned about her leaking basement. The foundation walls had several cracks running diagonally and vertically, letting rainwater enter her home. After asking around to friends and family, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems to see if they had a solution to her problem.
Unlike most companies, we don’t just patch up the crack and hope that it stops leaking. We install our patented system, WaterGuard, to catch any water that is entering your home. This is a more efficient way of stopping the leaks, and ensuring that the basement floor stays dry.
