Judy L. of Palmer, IL had cracks in the walls of her basement. The cracks were around doors and window indicating structural issues. Woods Basement Systems had the perfect product to give the home the proper support.

Woods installed GeoLock wall anchors to provide support for the home. These anchors are attached to the wall and is anchored to the yard outside. This is done by using poles to extend past the active zone in the yard. This will support the foundation of the home for the life of the structure so the homeowners will never have to worry about a failing foundation.

After a long rainstorm, Peggy & Rod noticed that water was leaking into their basement from various areas.  Without hesitation, they asked some friends who to call.  They were referred to Woods Basement Systems, and scheduled an appointment on September 25,2014 with David Palmer, a System Design Specialist.

Being very familiar with wet basement issues, David did not take long in diagnosing the couple’s problem.  David explained that their sill plate was slowly rotting away and causing minor leakage.  Also, their downspout was channeling too much water at the corner of their foundation.  Unfortunately, if these were not fixed in the near future, they would continue to get worse.  The couple scheduled for a crew to come the following week.

Foreman Reginald Bradford and his crew installed the Sill Plate Draintile System to fix their rotting sill plate.  Then, they installed a LawnScape Outlet that acts as a downspout extension to direct the drainage away from the foundation.  The couple was enthused that the job was completed in one day.  Today, they are enjoying their leak-free basement with confidence their storage will not be damaged every time it rains.  

Ballwin couple, Kevin & Sue, were tired of dealing with their basement flooding every time it rained.  Their waterproofing system was not working and they could not figure out why.  Realizing they absolutely needed the space for storage, they were referred to Woods Basement Systems by a friend.

Just in one day, the new interior drainage system was installed.  The WaterGuard system is barely noticeable as it is hidden beneath a layer of concrete, which enthused the couple.  The BrightWall panels, which were designed to work hand in hand with the WaterGuard system, has transformed their basement from a damp & dark room to a bright & open area that is perfect for neat and dry storage.  Kevin & Sue could not be happier with their new basement and continue to reference Woods Basement Systems to their friends.
