Monticello, Illinois resident Darren S. was concerned with his uneven, cracked sidewalk. The walkway was a safety concern for his friends and family. System design specialist Greg B. designed a solution to correct the walkway.
PolyLEVEL was installed by Andrew T. and his team. Because it does not settle, PolyLEVEL is a long-lasting solution. It does not interact with the soil and the walkway can be used the same day. Darren is pleased to know he has a safe, beautiful walkway again.
Kristin D. of Monticello, IL had cracked and bowing walls in her basement. Kristin knew that this was a sign of serious foundation issues. Woods Basement Systems was able to install products to help prevent the damages from getting worse.
Woods installed power braces in the basement to give the structure support and fix the foundation issues. The power braces are attached to the top of the structure and at the basement floor. They are used to push and hold the wall to stop inward wall movement. Over time they will help restore the vertical integrity of the foundation wall.

Carl B. of Hammond, IL noticed horizontal cracks in two of the walls of his basement. He became concerned when the cracks started to worsen, so he contacted Woods Basement Systems for a free evaluation.
Our system design specialist discovered that both walls were bowing inward due to pressure from the soil outside of the basement walls. He determined that our Geo-Lock Wall Anchors would be the best solution. Our production crew then installed eight total anchors across two opposing walls.
Melanie R. of Monticello, IL had a basement that had multiple issues with its foundation. The foundation walls were cracked and tilting. There were cracks along the foundation floors, a sign that the foundation was settling. The floors above had become uneven and sagged because the cement columns below that supported them were settling and pulling away with the foundation. Melanie R. was worried about the safety of her home so she called Woods Basement Systems. Design Specialist Kevin E. inspected the basement and recommended installing a foundation and floor support system.
Woods installed Push Piers along the concrete footing of the home. Push piers are high-strength steel pier sections that are hydraulically driven into the earth under the home into stable soil conditions or bedrock and then attached to the footing of the home using heavy-duty steel brackets. They transfer the homes weight to the more stable, load bearing earth below to halt further settling and lift the home back to level in most cases.
Along the cracked foundation walls, Woods installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. Earth anchors embedded in more stable soil condition in the yard are connected to steel wall plates in the inside of the walls with anchor rods. They counteract external soil pressure on the walls, permanently stabilizing them and preventing future damage.
Supplemental steel beams were installed along the sagging floor beam for additional support. SmartJacks were installed along the floor beam. SmartJacks are adjustable steel columns held firmly in place in a concrete footing. They lift and stabilize floors and because they’re adjustable, they offer the best opportunity to returns floors to their original, level position.

Foreman Bradly P Installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, and a Push Pier in Ian’s basement. The Wall Anchor will attach to the basement wall and to a stable level of soil away from the house and pull the house back to where it need to be. He also installed a Push Pier under the home. The Push Pier is driven into a stable level of soil and will support the portion of the home that is sinking, and will even raise its level overtime.
Alfred E. of Cerro Gordo, Illinois wanted to make sure that his crawl space was not collecting water or costing him money due to inefficiency. He called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Gregory B. assessed the situation and decided that the best solution would be to install a CleanSpace Encapsulation System and SilverGlo Wall Insulation. Foreman Joshua B. then headed to the home to begin the job.
The CleanSpace Encapsulation System is a heavy duty liner that is placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It acts as a water vapor barrier and completely seals the crawl space from the earth. SilverGlo not only insulates the crawl space, but also drains any leaks behind it to a sump pump.
Alfred E. no longer has to worry about any water getting in his crawl space or spending more money on energy bills than needed. He now has a dry and energy efficient crawl space.

The CleanSpace encapsulation system was placed over the floor and up the wall of the crawl space. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains any leaks that may occur behind it. The SmartPipe drainage system accepts water from both the soil and surface, and then drains the water to the sump pump. The SmartSump is a sump pump made specifically for crawl spaces. It removes water from the crawl space through a discharge line. The SilverGlo insulation system was installed on the walls and in the rim joist. It insulates the crawl space and keeps it dry. Finally, the Sanidry Sedona is a lightweight dehumidifier that fits perfectly in a crawl space. It not only removes water vapor, but also filters the air for pollen, dust, mold spores, and other allergens.
Alan K. no longer has to worry about water entering his home's crawl space and causing problems. He now has a dry and waterproof crawl space.

Donna worked alongside system design specialist, Greg B., who inspected the home and designed a plan to waterproof her basement. This plan included the product WaterGuard. PowerBrace beams are made out of strong galvanized steel and they are installed into the footing and ceiling. These beams will gradually move the walls back into a safe and secure position.
