Barry, a previous customer of Woods Basement Systems called back for an extra sump pump in his new CleanSpace crawl space. The Ultra Sump was installed just in case his primary pump failed. This pump would be the back up system and would turn on to keep this space from leaking. Now, Barry is greatly satisfied with the condition of his crawl space and how it will forever stay clean and dry.
Lawrence K. of Nebo, IL noticed water entering his crawlspace. After calling Woods Basement Systems it was determined he needed a new drainage system, as well as the installation of CleanSpace to reduce mold spores, moisture production, and maintain temperature control. Following the installation, Lawrence 's crawlspace encapsulation system was now able to rid the moisture he sought to eliminate in the first place.
Barry and Stephanie Y. of Ballwin, MO had water leaking into their crawlspace and it became hard to keep the space dry. Woods Basement Systems was able to provide products that work together to keep water out of the space so it can remain dry.
Woods came in and installed a drainage matting under CleanSpace. This drainage matt would help drain away any water that may get into the crawlspace. The CleanSpace was used to seal off the space to prevent moisture from getting into the space, helping to keep it dry.
A sump pump was installed to evacuate unwanted water. The sump pump will pump the water out through a discharge line that leads the water to the yard. This line can become clogged or frozen at times, in order to prevent the water from receding back into the crawlspace, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the discharge line next to the house and allows water to escape through it when it is necessary.
Lawrence K.'s crawlspace had standing water in it that was threatening to form mold and rot and the floors about the crawlspace has become uneven and we sagging in places. Systems Design Specialist Jacob K. inspected Lawrence's crawlspace and came up with the perfect solution to his crawlspace issues.
Cleanspace vapor barrier was installed around the crawlspace to keep the outside environment and weather out of the crawlspace. A SmartSump pump and Smart Pipe were installed to pump any water that encroached on the crawlspace out and away. A Sanidry was put into place to lower the relative humidity to prevent mold and musty smells.
SmartJacks were installed to lift and level floors.
Lawrence K. is happy with his level floors and thrilled that he doesn't haven't to worry about water or mold in his crawlspace anymore.
Barry and Jackie A. of Ladue, MO had a humid basement. The humidity made it the area hard to use for storage or living space. Woods Basement Systems had the perfect product to fix the problem.
A SaniDry was installed to filter moisture out of the air in the basement. A SaniDry is a dehumidifier for the space and will help control the humidity. Controlling the humidity of the basement will reduce energy bills and make the home more comfortable because the air that is moving throughout the basement is more controlled.
Charlotte T. of Griggsville, Illinois was troubled by her settling foundation. As the soil around her home settled, her floors began to sag. A Woods Basement Systems system design specialist designed a solution.
SmartJack was installed to lift the floors to their original position. If needed, SmartJack can be adjusted over time. Charlotte is pleased to have a safe, supported home.
Bryant and Wanicha D. of Gray Summit, MO had large cracks all along their foundation walls that also appeared to be leaning inward. Coupled with that, water was getting into their basement despite having a pre-existing waterproofing system from when the home was built. They called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Design Specialist Brenton K. inspected the inside and outside of the home and recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors for the walls and adding a sump pump system to the waterproofing system already in place at the house.
Foreman Bradly Perry installed the wall anchors along the leaning walls. Galvanized steel anchor rods are driven through the foundation walls and attached to earth anchors that are buried in the yard. Steel wall plates are attached to the anchor rods on the inside of the foundation walls and the rods are tightened. They halt any further movement and damage of the walls and permanently stabilizes them.
A Twin Pack Sump Pump System was tied into the already existing waterproofing system. Water is drained into the Twin Pack where two powerful, cast iron pumps will pump the unwanted water out of the basement through the discharge lines even when weather becomes severe. On the discharge lines, IceGuards were installed. The IceGuards are on the exterior of the home and have slotted openings for water to escape if the discharge lines become frozen or clogged so water won’t come back into the basement.
Bryant and Wanicha D. are happy that their walls will not be damaged any further and that their basement will remain dry.
Charles and Linda B. of Griggsville, IL discovered their crawlspace was collecting an intense amount of water and gave Woods Basement System a call for a free estimate.
After receiving their free estimate and deciding to go through with it, our system design specialist, Brandon B. did a home inspection and created a design that would resolve the issue. Foreman, Joshua B. then traveled to Griggsville to do a CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system installation. Many homeowners are not aware that standing water in the crawlspace can cause a rapid growth of mold and affect the air they breathe in their home. The CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system is a heavy duty 7-layer liner material that is installed completely across the floor and up the walls of the crawlspace. The 7-layer liner acts as an complete seal away from the earth. This system will guarantee stop all the water vapor from entering.
Thanks to the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system, Charles and Linda B. have a clean, bright, and healthy crawlspace.
Craig of Millstadt, Illinois experienced a sinking concrete porch that needed repair, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems for help. Systems design specialist, Peter N., recommended for Polylevel to be installed.
Foreman, Andrew T., worked the job. PolyLevel is a high density polyurethane formula or foam that permanently lifts and stabilizes sinking concrete slabs. First, small, dime-sized holes are drilled into the concrete slabs. Then the polymer is injected into the void and the holes are filled with cement. The concrete can be used within 15 minutes, so there is no long wait for it to settle.
Now, Craig M. can safely use his porch.
Sappington, Missouri homeowner Dennis had a sidewalk that was settled creating an uneven and dangerous path. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Barry developed a plan for him.
Foreman Matt and his crew injected the PolyLevel under the sidewalk slabs to even them. The PolyLevel is an expanding foam that can set in just a few hours. It will not wash away or add weight for more settling. By injecting different amounts in different areas we can level the slabs.
Dennis now has a safe, even walkway for his family.
Kirkwood, Missouri homeowner Richard had cracks throughout the walls on first level of his home. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Barry developed a plan for him.
Foreman Jose and his crew installed the Push Pier system for Richard. The Push Piers will lift the walls in the home and provide the support needed to not settle any further.
Richard can now trust his home is sturdy for decades to come.
Affton, MO homeowners Richard B. and Danielle L. reached out to Woods Basement Systems looking to replace their drafty basement window with a new egress window that was both watertight and code-compliant. Richard and Danielle met with System Design Specialist Barry C., who gave them a free estimate on the ideal egress window upgrade.
Foreman Miguel O. and his team installed a new egress window along with a Rockwell window well to weatherproof the new addition and brighten the home with natural light. Rockwell's solid construction makes it the perfect code-compliant addition to any finished basement by providing a safe, easy exit without compromising your basement's appearance. Now these homeowners can take pride in knowing they made a smart, stylish, and long-lasting investment in their home thanks to Rockwell!
Mary T. of Creve Coeur, Missouri grew concerned over her sinking concrete around her pool, so she called Woods Basement Systems for the best solution. Systems design specialist, Barry C. recommended installing PolyLevel for the job.
Foreman, Peter N. and his crew installed the product. PolyLevel is used to permanently lift and stabilize sinking concrete slabs. It is made of a polyurethane formula, or foam that expands underground to fill space where soil has settled. Small holes are drilled into the concrete and then the polymer is injected into the void. Within 15 minutes of installation the concrete can be used again, so there is not long cure time.
Thankfully, now Mary and her family can feel safe walking and swimming in this area.
Gary and Debbie of Bella Villa, Missouri were tired of their uneven, sunken front porch. It was sloped quite precariously and not all that safe to walk on, especially in the rain. Because they wanted the job done quickly and correctly, the couple called Woods Basement Systems.
System design specialist Barry determined that the best fix would be PolyLevel, a fast-curing, expanding polymer foam that is injected underneath concrete to lift it up again. Foreman Justin and his team installed PolyLevel underneath Gary and Debbie's porch, and within an hour the concrete was level and the foam was totally cured, meaning the porch was already usable!
Connie from Byrnes Mill, Missouri wanted to find a quick and permanent solution to fix her sinking foundation, so she reached out to Woods Basement Systems. System design specialist, Jeremy G., worked with Connie to find a solution to prevent her home from sinking any further. Jeremy gave the recommendation of installing push piers into the footing of the foundation to lock and lift the foundation back into its original place.
Several push piers were installed by foreman Miguel O. and his crew. Push piers are made out of durable galvanized steel and are drilled below the foundation to lift it into place. These piers take the pressure off of the home and the soil that supports the house and places the burden onto the piers. Connie thankfully won't have to worry about the safety of her foundation for many years to come!
