Foreman Jeremy R, installed Push Piers and Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. Push Piers lift the foundation to its original position. They provide continuous support for the foundation. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors restore the walls to their original position and support the foundation.

WaterGuard, TwinPack and IceGuard in Steeleville, IL

Ron L., Steeleville, Illinois homeowner, was troubled by water leaking into his basement where the floor meets the walls. The water risked damaging his valuables. System design specialist Gerald D. designed a solution to keep the basement dry.

Foreman Ryan L. installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that collects and guides water to the TwinPack sump pump system. TwinPack is equipped with two pumps to ensure the basement stays dry. In addition to WaterGuard and TwinPack, IceGuard was installed. IceGuard provides and exit for water in the event that the discharge lines become frozen or clogged.

Ron is relieved to have a dry basement again. He is thrilled to know that his basement will stay dry.

Walls Stabilized by Geo-Lock Wall Anchors in Sparta, IL.

Elizabeth H. had already done work with Woods Basements before to stabilize other walls in her basement before she knew the benefits of Geo-Lock Anchors. When she had her annual maintenance performed by Nate H., he noticed that the other walls in her basement had begun bowing. In some places they were bowing over an inch and support beams had begun to intrude through the walls! He recommended more Geo-Lock Wall Anchors to prevent new cracks from forming or possible wall failure.

 

Eleven more Geo-lock Anchors were installed in the remaining basement walls. They were tightened to ensure that the walls wouldn't bow or move any further and over time, straighten the walls.

Bowing Walls Permanently Stabilized in Percy, IL

Tracy O. had severely bowing walls in the basement of her Percy, IL home. There were large stair step cracks going along the stone bricks of her foundation walls and were leaning inward towards the middle of the walls to an alarming degree. Tracy was worried the walls were on the verge of failing so she called Woods Basement Systems. Design Specialist Jake K. analyzed the foundation walls from the inside and outside of the home and found the best solution would be to install Geo-Lock Channel Wall Anchors.

Earth anchors were embedded in the yard and galvanized anchor rods are driven through the walls and connected to the earth anchors. Steel wall plates are attached to the anchor rods and the anchor rods are tightened. Channel wall anchor plates are used when damage to the wall is as severe, like in Tracy’s case. They extended down to the floor and are attached to the concrete floors with heavy-duty steel brackets and bolts to prevent further bowing or tilting. The walls are permanently stabilized in place and over time can be straightened by tightening the anchors during dry periods.

Tracy O. is relieved that she no longer has to worry about her walls failing and has peace of mind that they’re stable. 

Bowing Wall in Red Bud, IL Corrected with Wall Anchors

David Y. of Red Bud, Illinois discovered that a wall in his home's basement was starting to bow inward. He did not want this problem to continue to get worse, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.

These steel wall anchors extend from the inside walls of the basement to the hard packed soil outside. They stabilize the wall and prevent any further movement.

GeoLock Wall Anchor Stabilizes Walls in Red Bud, IL

PowerBrace Fixes Bowing Walls in Pinckneyville, IL

When Ilze R discovered that her basement walls were bending she knew that she needed to have the problem fixed, so she called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Lee S was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jose L Installed a PowerBrace in Ilze’s basement. A PowerBrace is made of metal I beams that attach to the walls of the basement, and keep them from moving any more than they already have. The system can also tightened and straighten the walls overtime.

PolyLevel Flattens Concrete for Pool Installation in Eureka, MO

When planning to install a pool it helps to have a level patio. That’s why Bob B called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Tim W was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman William T used PolyLevel to even out the concrete were Bob wanted to put his pool. PolyLevel is injected into the concrete and will raise the concrete up to the correct level. Now the space is flat and the injection only leaves behind a dime sized hole, which is filled in with concrete.

 

PolyLevel Fixes Porch in Kirkwood, MO

Over time concrete can shift from all of the weight that is put on it. This weight can cause patios, sidewalks and even a front porch to sink. This is why Thomas W called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Peter N was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Juan H used PolyLevel to raise the sinking concrete porch. PolyLevel is injected into the surface of the sinking concrete, it will then push it back up to where it is supposed to be. The injection leaves behind a dime sized hole that will be filled with concrete.

Push Pier Used to Stabilize Home in St. Louis, MO

Making sure that your homes foundation is stable is very important. When Nancy and Fred F started to see there floors were sinking in certain places they called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Adam R was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jose L used a Push Pier to raise the level of the house. A Push Pier is driven into the ground down to a stable level of soil. It will support the home and keep the floors from sinking any further than they already have, it will also be able to raise the level of the home overtime.  

Foundation Stabilized in Sparta, IL

Overtime the dirt that a house sets on can settle causing parts of the house to sink. This’s why Pat L called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jeremy R was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

GeoLock Wall Anchor Stabilizes home in Red Bud, IL

When James B noticed that his basement walls were bowing he knew that he needed to do something soon. That’s why he called Woods Basement System. System Design Specialist Paul W was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jeremy R installed a GeoLock Wall Anchor in James’s basement. One end of the anchor will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house. The other end will attach to the basement walls and pull them back into place and keep them stable.

Crawl Space Waterproofing in Farmersville, IL

Charlene S. of Farmersville, Illinois discovered that her home's crawl space was holding water. She knew standing water could cause problems such as mold growth and rotting. She did not want this to occur, so she called Woods Basement Systems for help.
