Water was running down the walls of a basement in Danville, IL, so the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This is an economical way to cover ugly walls and stop water vapor from permeating them. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Thanks to these systems, This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!

A resident of Danville, IL wanted a permanent waterproof solution to his wet basement. The walls had begun to crack and slightly bow, resulting in water leakage during heavy rains. Woods Basement Systems installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors in order to stabilize the walls and close up any cracks. Wall Anchors prevent any further bowing of the walls and provide an opportunity for the walls to straighten over time. In regards to waterproofing, DryTrak is the logical solution for a wet basement with a monolithic foundation, meaning the footing and floor are one piece. The DryTrak system keeps basements dry so they can be used for storage space, recreational purposes, or additional living space.
A Danville, IL homeowner discovered large cracks in his basement walls years ago and tried to seal them on his own. However, the sealant did not last and now the cracks are growing larger. The resident wanted to close the cracks and prevent any water, insects, or other unwanted debris from entering his basement.
Woods Basement Systems solved this homeowner’s problem by installing a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor system. Wall anchors are the proven solution for cracked or bowing walls. By installing wall anchors, Woods was able to help the resident by closing the cracks in his basement walls and preventing any further bowing.
Julie had an old sump pump that wasn't working as hard as she wanted it too. She called Woods Basement Systems and had a System Design Specialist come to her home. Scott Mans suggested Julie upgrade to the Triple Safe and Ultra Sump Pumps. Triple Safe would make sure the water stays out of the basement and the Ultra Sump Pump would be the back-up system in case the other one loses power. She thought this was the perfect solution. Now she lives with peace of mind that her basement will stay dry.
Cindy and Walter had flooding several inches deep in their basement and water pooling in the backyard. These homeowners needed something powerful enough to pump the water out and something to take the pumped water away from the house.
This is where the TripleSafe sump pump and exterior discharge line come into play. TripleSafe, with its three pump configuration, has a normal operating pump, a back up pump and a battery operating pump, minimizing the failure of the pump system. The exterior discharge line is then able to take the water from TripleSafe away from the home, eliminating pooling in yards.
After these installations, Cindy and Walter were happy to see the water disappear from their basement and backyard.
Ballwin couple, Kevin & Sue, were tired of dealing with their basement flooding every time it rained. Their waterproofing system was not working and they could not figure out why. Realizing they absolutely needed the space for storage, they were referred to Woods Basement Systems by a friend.
On September 11th, 2012, System Design Specialist, David Palmer met with the couple to diagnose their issue. David explained that the water was seeping through their walls, floors, and joints between them. He informed them that their original waterproofing system seemed to be clogged. This could be fixed, but he warned them it probably would not be long-lasting. He then suggested a permanent solution, the WaterGuard system. Kevin & Sue were instantly appealed to the fact that it was a non-clogging pipe system that does not rot. After doing more research on the products of Basement Systems, they decided that they wanted BrightWall panels to enhance the aesthetics of the dark, bare basement walls. Three days after their meeting with David, foreman Chris Armstrong and his crew arrived to save their basement.
Just in one day, the new interior drainage system was installed. The WaterGuard system is barely noticeable as it is hidden beneath a layer of concrete, which enthused the couple. The BrightWall panels, which were designed to work hand in hand with the WaterGuard system, has transformed their basement from a damp & dark room to a bright & open area that is perfect for neat and dry storage. Kevin & Sue could not be happier with their new basement and continue to reference Woods Basement Systems to their friends.

Damp air in a basement can condense on cooler surfaces and feed mold spores. Just ask Simmons J. from Danville, IL. He was tired of damp air making his basement uncomfortable and dank.
But Todd G. had the product to fix the damp basement air; a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry™ Sedona can dry the air throughout the basement up to 100 pints per day and it can do it with the same low amount of power as smaller dehumidifiers. On top of that, the Sedoa can filter the air, removing mold spores and other air particles which can make a basement smell unpleasant.

This home in Chesterfield, MO. was experiencing bowing walls. The pressure from the soil outside pressing in was causing the foundation walls to bend inward slightly. Over time, this pressure and bending could cause severe damage ranging from cracks up to collapsed walls.
To fix this problem, foreman Todd G. of Woods Basement Systems installed GeoLock wall anchors. This system can not only stop walls from bowing, but can sometimes even reverse the process, straightening the walls back out to their original position.
The wall anchor system works by burying a plate outside in the compacted soil and running a steel rod through the loose soil and into the home, where it attaches to a second plate inside. The two plates are pulled together by the rod, pulling the foundation walls into a strong, supported position permanently.
With wall anchors in place in this home in Chesterfield, the homeowners won't have to worry about their foundation walls failing anymore.
Sump pumps and drainage systems are great at keeping basements dry and protecting basements from flooding. But sometimes a basement feels damp and cave-like because the moisture is in the air. The best sump pump systems in the world can't pull water out of the air.
That's why the Sedona dehumidifier is the perfect addition for basements that still feel damp. The Sedona is so effective that it can drain over 12 gallons of water from the air in just a single day. What's more, it runs on the same amount of power as dehumidifiers that drain less than half as much!
If that wasn't reason enough to choose the Sedona, it can also filter tiny particles out of the air. Things that might affect the health of the home or the residents like mold spores, dust mites or even dust mite droppings. The air will not only be drier, but healthier too.
All the moisture that the Sedona collects gets drained into the TripleSafe™ sump pump system to be pumped out of the home. That means the homeowners won't even have to empty collection buckets to keep the dehumidifier running. And the TripleSafe™ system will be able to handle the extra water with its two powerful main pumps and a third, battery powered pump that can expell water out of the basement in even the heaviest of rainfalls.
The floors of this basement will be kept dry thanks to the TripleSafe™ sump pump system while the air is dried by the Sedona dehumidifier. That's a protected basement.
