Fast and Effective Concrete Lifting and Leveling

The major flaw of concrete is that the ground that it was poured on top of will inevitably shift and sink over time. In the states of Illinois and Missouri sinking concrete is all too common which is why our company has gone to great lengths to develop fast and effective concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel is a revolutionary product that is minimally invasive and not only lifts and levels concrete but also stabilizes it.

How PolyLevel works:

  1. The concrete lifting and leveling process begins with a few small holes drilled in the slab.
  2. Then the PolyLevel polymer is injected into the holes and expands to provide an accurate lift.
  3. After only about 15 minutes the polymer is dry and the concrete is ready to be walked and even driven on.

This concrete lifting and leveling technique is faster, less disruptive, and arguably more effective than mud jacking, which is the standard that PolyLevel replaces. We even offer SealantPro concrete sealing, which extends slabs' lifespans by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. This concrete sealing system is resistant to moisture, oil, UV rays, abrasions, and more.

To remove tripping hazards, stabilize concrete, and lift it back to a level height nothing is faster or more effective than PolyLevel concrete leveling. After, our concrete sealing system will preserve your slabs for a lifetime. To schedule a FREE concrete lifting and leveling or concrete sealing estimate, contact us today!

We can Fix:
  • Sunken sidewalks
  • Sagging steps
  • Uneven patios
  • Sinking driveways

But Todd G. had the product to fix the damp basement air; a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier. The SaniDry™ Sedona can dry the air throughout the basement up to 100 pints per day and it can do it with the same low amount of power as smaller dehumidifiers. CleanSpace Crawlspace Encapsulation and SaniDry in Danville, Illinois

James M. of Danville, Illinois was distruaght by his musty, moldy crawlspace. Water pooled in his crawlspace and created a breeding ground for mold and other allergens. System Design Specialist Kevin E. designed a solution to ensure James' crawlspace will stay dry and free of mold.

Foreman Josh B. and his team installed the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that prevents water from entering the crawlspace. Because it is inorganic, it does not support mold growth. The CleanSpace encapsulation system guides water to the TripleSafe sump pump system to ensure the crawlspace stays dry. Additionally,SaniDry was installed. SaniDry is an energy efficient dehumidifier, so it does hike up energy bills. Keeping the humidity low will keep mold and dust mites away.

James is thrilled to have a dry, clean crawlspace free of mold and allergens. His home is now healthy, and he will no longer have to worry about water beneath his home.

Crawlspace Encapsulated in Danville, IL

The crawl space of James M.’s Danville, IL flooded each time it rained. The standing water had attracted pests, fostered mold growth and started rotting the floor joists above. James had a flimsy plastic liner on the floor of the crawl space that did nothing to keep water from getting in and the pump in place was no longer working so he called Woods Basement Systems. Design Specialist Kevin E. inspected the crawl space and found the best solution would be a crawl space encapsulation system.

Over the foundation walls and floors, Woods installed CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a bright, thick plastic moisture barrier that is mold resistant and prevents water from entering the crawl space, making the crawl space inhospitable for pests. It directs water down to the drainage system.

Drainage matting was installed under the CleanSpace along the dirt floors of the crawl space. Its dimpled design provides channels for standing water to disperse to the drainage system.

SmartPipe was installed along the perimeter of the crawl space. SmartPipe is a drainage system that has rows of holes covered in filter fabric so mud and debris from the dirt floors won’t clog it as it collects water from the walls and floors of the crawl space and drains it to the sump pump.

Woods replaced the old, nonfunctioning sump pump with the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe contains three pumps, including a battery back up pump, to ensure encroaching water is constantly being pumped out and away from the crawl space through its discharge lines, even when weather is very severe or power has gone out.

IceGuards were installed on the exterior of the home. They are attached to the discharge lines and have slotted openings that prevents water from getting back into the crawl space if the lines become frozen during cold winter months.

The SaniDry dehumidifier was also installed in the crawl space. The SaniDry removes up to 109 pints of water from the crawl space air to prevent rot and mold growth as well as musty smells.

James M. has peace of mind that his crawl space will remain dry and can be safely used for storage without worries about pests or flooding.

Waterproofing in Danville, IL

Jaime N. had water leaking into her Danville, IL basement. The water was threatening to damage some of her personal belongings she stored in the basement. Woods Basement Systems was able to waterproof the basement and keep water away from her belongings.

Woods installed WaterGuard to help drain unwanted water out of the basement. WaterGuard is installed in the cement of the flooring against the walls. This allows water to enter the piping and be drained to prevent damages to the home and personal belongings.

Woods installed CleanSpace on the walls to control where the water was flowing. The water will now flow to a designated area and will not leak onto the drywall. This will reduce the risk of mold and the drywall will no longer become wet when leaks occur.

A TripleSafe sump pump was installed to evacuate unwanted water. The sump pump will pump the water out through a discharge line that leads the water to the yard. This line can become clogged or frozen at times, in order to prevent the water from receding back into the basement, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the discharge line next to the house and allows water to escape through it when it is necessary.

WaterGuard and TripleSafe Installation in Danville, Illinois

Jake and Amber L. of Danville, Illinois were distraught by water leaking into their basement. The water seepage resulted in mold and odor. System design specialist Greg B. designed a solution to keep the basement dry.

CleanSpace Installation in Danville, IL

Experiencing high energy bills, Bill M. in Danville, IL decided to have his crawlspace sealed. The air in his crawlspace was rising into his house, making it difficult to control the climate of the space. Bill called Woods Basement Systems to help him find a solution.

Woods came in and installed a drainage matting under CleanSpace. This drainage mat would help drain away any water that may get into the crawlspace. The CleanSpace was used to seal off the space to prevent moisture from getting into the space, helping to keep it dry. Vent covers were also installed for additional sealing. These covers create an air tight seal and do not allow water or moisture into the crawlspace.

A SaniDry was installed to filter moisture out of the air in the crawlspace. A SaniDry is a dehumidifier for the space and will help control the humidity. Controlling the humidity of the crawlspace will reduce energy bills and make the home more comfortable because the air that is moving into the house is more controlled.

A sump pump was installed to provide escape for any unwanted water in the space. Water that may still get into the space will be pumped out through a discharge line that leads the yard. If this line becomes frozen or backed up, IceGuard will prevent the water from receding back into the crawlspace.

CleanSpace Installed in Danville, IL

In Danville, IL, Ben J. had an improper vapor barrier in his crawlspace. Ben decided that the crawlspace was a potential hazard to his home because of the mold and rotting wood that could be forming. Woods Basement Systems came in and installed CleanSpace to fix this issue.

Flooding Danville, IL Basement Requires Waterproofing

Cindy and Walter had flooding several inches deep in their basement and water pooling in the backyard. These homeowners needed something powerful enough to pump the water out and something to take the pumped water away from the house.

This is where the TripleSafe sump pump and exterior discharge line come into play. TripleSafe, with its three pump configuration, has a normal operating pump, a back up pump and a battery operating pump, minimizing the failure of the pump system. The exterior discharge line is then able to take the water from TripleSafe away from the home, eliminating pooling in yards.

After these installations, Cindy and Walter were happy to see the water disappear from their basement and backyard.

New Sump Pumps in Danville, IL

Julie had an old sump pump that wasn't working as hard as she wanted it too.  She called Woods Basement Systems and had a System Design Specialist come to her home.  Scott Mans suggested Julie upgrade to the Triple Safe and Ultra Sump Pumps.  Triple Safe would make sure the water stays out of the basement and the Ultra Sump Pump would be the back-up system in case the other one loses power.  She thought this was the perfect solution.  Now she lives with peace of mind that her basement will stay dry.

DryTrak Installation in Danville, IL

A resident of Danville, IL wanted a permanent waterproof solution to his wet basement.  The walls had begun to crack and slightly bow, resulting in water leakage during heavy rains.  Woods Basement Systems installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors in order to stabilize the walls and close up any cracks.  Wall Anchors prevent any further bowing of the walls and provide an opportunity for the walls to straighten over time.  In regards to waterproofing, DryTrak is the logical solution for a wet basement with a monolithic foundation, meaning the footing and floor are one piece.  The DryTrak system keeps basements dry so they can be used for storage space, recreational purposes, or additional living space.
