Heidi S. had an old, rusted sump pump sitting in a gross open-faced pit. It no longer working and her basement was flooding which made construction on the basement impossible. Heidi called Woods Basement Systems for a free inspection. Woods recommended a full perimeter waterproofing system.

Woods replaced the old, rusted sump pump with the Twin Pack sump pump system. The Twin Pack contains to powerful, cast-iron pumps sitting in is closed sump liner. Even if weather becomes severe, the Twin Pack will keep the basement dry.

The old waterproofing system in place in Heidi S.'s basement of her Poplar Bluff home had failed. Her basement as under construction but it had flooded and made construction impossible. As part of the waterproofing system, WaterGuard was installed under the concrete floors. WaterGuard is a drainage system that sits on top of the concrete footing around the perimeter of the basement and collects encroaching water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.

Woods installed the Twin Pack as part of the waterproofing system. The Twin Pack expels intruding water out and away from the basement through its discharge lines. The Twin Pack contains two high powered, cast-iron pumps that can protect the basement from water in a weather ranging from light showers to heavy downpours.

Because WaterGuard is an interior drainage system that sits on top of the footing, it won’t be clogged as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it to the sump pump for removal.

A CleanSpace liner was also installed to seal the space from the earth and give a clean and finished look to the crawlspace. This will also stop water vapor from entering and will keep the space dry.
