Sharon S., St. Louis, Missouri homeowner, was troubled by her musty, moldy crawlspace. The mold was an allergen and caused her home's air to be unhealthy. System design specialist Adam R. designed a solution to keep her crawlspace dry.

CleanSpace was installed by foreman James L. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that keeps water out of the crawlspace. Because it is inorganic, it does not support mold growth. Sharon is thrilled to have a dry crawlspace and a healthy home.

External soil conditions can exert pressure on foundation walls and cause damage like bowing, tilting and cracking. Dan F. of St. Louis, MO had a wall that was bowing and a long crack had formed along the area where the bowing was the worst so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods inspected the foundation wall and recommended Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.

Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed along the bowing, cracking foundation wall. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract the external pressure by connecting earth anchors embedded in stable soil in the yard to steel wall plates on the inside of the wall using galvanized steel anchor rods. The rods are tightened and the walls are permanently stabilized in place. They can even straighten the walls over time in most cases.

Dan F was concerned when he noticed a large crack in his basement wall. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jacob K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Dan’s basement. One end of the anchor will attach to stable ground away from the house and the other end will attach to the basement wall. Over time, this will pull the walls back into place and stabilize them. 

Maryland Heights, MO homeowner Jeremy S. had water coming into his basement around the perimeter where the floor meets the wall. He contacted Woods Basement Systems to get a free estimate on his basement. 

Design specialist John S. evaluated the basement and suggested a full perimeter waterproofing system as well as a sump pump system.

Jose L. and his crew installed the WaterGuard around the interior perimeter of the basement as well as the TripleSafe sump pump with a primary, secondary, and battery backup pump. Also installed was the IceGuard to prevent backup of water in the basement in the case of frozen or clogged discharge lines.
