Ladue, Missouri homeowners, Todd and Kathryn H., were distraught with their wet basement. The water seepage cause mold and damage to their drywall.
Foreman Quinton W. installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system, to keep the basement dry. WaterGuard collects and guides water to the sump pump system and away from the basement. Later, EverLast Half-Wall was installed to restore the damaged wall.
Marlys M. of Saint Louis, MO had a very leaky basement. As can be seen from the water stains and damage to the foundation walls, water got in through cracks and the joints between the walls and the floors of the basement and had caused numerous floods that threatened the items she stored there so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
Woods installed BrightWall panels as part of the waterproofing system. BrightWall Panels are made of rigid, white plastic that is waterproof and resistant to mold. They form a moisture barrier over the foundation walls that prevents water from getting into the basement, instead directing it down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. They give the basement a much cleaner and brighter appearance.
Water regularly flooded into the basement of Marlys M,’s Saint Louis, MO home through the wall and floor joints as well as cracks she had in her foundation walls. Rainy weather brought messes that took hours to clean up. Marlys has enough so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement, as can be seen in the pictures. Because it sits on top of the the concrete footing of the home, WaterGuard won’t get clogged by mud or other debris as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors, using its special wall flanges and channel holes, and drains it to the sump pump for removal.
This Ladue home's back addition was sinking and beginning to separate from the home. The homeowner was terrified of a total collapse, and he was ready to take action. After being called to the home, a Woods Basement Systems team installed several Low-Profile Push Piers underneath the sinking foundation. These incredibly strong piers are inserted through small holes in the ground and adjusted to lift the home back to level and provide support for the life of the structure.
Customer, Patt from Saint Louis had a wet, dirty crawl space. To fix it he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Upon further inspection, systems design specialist, Chris M., found a solution and recommended the installation of CleanSpace and a SmartSump.
Foreman, Melvin F., installed the products. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier made out of inorganic material, meaning it does not support mold growth. It is installed onto crawl space or basement walls to guide water to the sump pump and out of the home. The SmartSump pump system is specifically designed for crawl spaces and can provide protection from leaks and floods.
Now, Patt C. has a clean, dry crawl space.
