Water was coming down the walls of a basement in Saint Louis, MO, and the sump pump was not removing this water properly. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was first installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, draining water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharging it out of the house. A basement wall was failing in Overland, MO, causing cracks to form. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. These I-beams work by stabilizing the walls in the basement by custom fitting to the wall. They are tightened to the wall through anchors on the basement floor and floor joists. This joist reinforcement method evenly distributes the load and effectively straightens the wall over time.  It is also a great non-invasive option since there is no drilling or digging on the property.  This wall will now remain stable and secure for years to come!

A home's sidewalk was starting to show significant damage from moving foundation soils. To fix this issue, Woods installed the PolyLevel System. This system lifts concrete back into place with high strength polyurethane foam. Small holes are drilled into the concrete and the foam is injected underneath. Within a few short hours, this sidewalk was as good as new!

Sump pump failure can occur for several reasons.  Two common reasons cited for sump pump failure are mechanical failure and power outages.  A single pump system is only as good as the pump itself.  In this case, a single sump pump system just wasn't enough to keep this St. Louis basement dry.

Woods Basement Systems installed a dual pump system, so at least one pump is always ready to handle groundwater leaks.  An optional and critical enhancement to this system is the UltraSump battery backup pump.  If a breaker is tripped or severe weather knocks out power, the UltraSump will continue to pump in spite of the storm.
