Homeowners Tom and Jane of Brentwood, MO were concerned about how their vented gravel crawl space was impacting their house. They called Woods Basement Systems and System Design Specialist Brandon B. developed a solution for them. 

Foreman James L. and his crew installed a crawl space encapsulation, including CleanSpace, SilverGlo, TerraBlock, and Vent Covers. 

These products combined provided a high level of energy savings. CleanSpace is an durable inorganic vapor barrier, it isolates your home from the dirt, allergens, and critters, providing a must-free dry area. 

TerraBlock goes under the CleanSpace, it gives an extra layer of insulation.  An added bonus is it gives you and future service professionals a soft surface to work on. 

SilverGlo is R-13 rated graphite insulation. The tiny particles of graphite reflect the hot or cold air back into the crawl space providing ultimate energy savings. 

Tom and Jane can now use their crawl space for storage and know that their home is seperated from the outside. 

Chad H. of Brentwood, Missouri wanted to have preventative waterproofing work done, so he called Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Pete L. recommended installing a Twin Pack pump and a WaterGuard system.

Foreman, Juan H. installed the products. The Twin Pack sump pump has two stainless steel pumps for extra protection against flooding and leaks. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor. It works to collect water that seeps through the basement walls and guides it to the sump pump and out of the home. 

Now Chad H. has a watertight basement. 

Kate S is worried about water getting in her basement. When it rains, groundwater seeps through cracks in the concrete floor. She would like to get a sump pump installed to dispose of the water. 

Michael D and his crew installed WaterGuard to catch, seal up, and drain away water directly to the TripleSafe sump system, which was also installed to pump out the water. This will stop water from leaking onto the floors. 

In the before image, the concrete is being dug up so TripleSafe can be installed. In the after photo, Waterguard is under the fresh concrete leading to the Sump System. This is where the groundwater will go, so it doesn’t leak onto the floors. 

Kate can now relax knowing that her basement will stay dry!

This Brentwood, Missouri homeowner built a new addition in the basement and started noticing leaks every time it would rain. We were able to add on to their existing sump pump system, although we wouldn't recommend it. In order to prevent water from leaking into the basement, we installed a perimeter system that catches water and directs it to the sump pump, and away from the house. Now this homeowner can enjoy a finished basement that is always dry.

Water was entering a building in Saint Louis, MO through the front entrance. To fix this issue, a TrenchDrain was installed in front of the doors. This will catch water before it can get in, and drain it safely away. This will restore peace of mind for years to come!
