Leaky basements can cause large messes that are annoying to clean up. Timothy H. of Waterloo, IL knew this all to well. Anytime it rained, he would spend hours wet vacuuming up all the water that got into his basement so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.

As part of the waterproofing system, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed (as shown in the pictures). The TripleSafe contains three pumps, including a battery back up pump, which ensures that, even when weather is severe outside and the power is out, any unwanted water coming into the basement is being pumped out.

Tim H. is thrilled he no longer has to clean up messes because his basement is dry, no matter the weather.

The cement slabs of the walkway and driveway in front of Amy H.’s Waterloo, IL home had sunk over the years. This had caused both to be uneven and created multiple tripping hazards for anyone walking along them so Amy called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended PolyLevel.

PolyLevel is an expanding polymer foam that is injected through the concrete slabs to lift and level them. Traditional mudjacking adds more weight to unstable soils underneath the slabs which makes it a far less permanent solution than PolyLevel. PolyLevel is light weight but can support substantial loads. It also cures quickly which means the walkway and driveway can be used in about 15 minutes, much quicker than mudjacking.

Waterloo, Illinois homeowner Shirley G was troubled by her wet, moldy crawl space. They musty environment was a health concern for her and her family. System design specialist Adam R. designed a solution to restore the crawl space.

Foreman Josh B. and his crew installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier. It prevents water and mold from overtaking the crawl space. Shirley is pleased to know her home is safe and her crawl space will stay dry. 

Dustin W was concerned when he noticed that his basement walls were beginning to bow. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Thomas W was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jeremy R installed a PowerBrace System, shown above, in Dustin’s basement. The PowerBrace is a system of metal beams that will attach to the walls and keep them from bowing any further than they already have, they will also be able to straighten the walls over time.

Daniel S. and Jeanette G. of Waterloo, IL had a leak in their basement and were unsure where it was coming from, so they contacted Woods Basement Systems.

Specialist Christoph H. evaluated the issue and determined that a waterproofing system was necessary. Foreman Brad P. and his crew then installed the WaterGuard interior perimeter system, pictured here, along with a sump pump and IceGuard to prevent water backing up in the event of a frozen or clogged discharge line.
