Josie with the First United Methodist Church in Kennett, Missouri gave Woods Basement Systems a call when the church board decided they needed to waterproof their classroom area. Team Woods developed a plan for them.
Foreman Juan and his crew installed WaterGuard, CleanSpace, a TripleSafe sump pump, Interior Trench Drain, and restored mold damaged walls.
The First United Methodist Church now has an area they can be proud to host events in without worry of the allergens, moisture, and mold in the air.
Support blocks in a Kennett, MO crawlspace were sinking into the dirt ground, causing the support beams to shift. To solve this issue, the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the beams and floor joists in the crawlspace and lift the floor above it back toward its original elevation. Floor bounce caused by weakened joists or excessive spans will also be reduced. This crawlspace will remain stable for years to come!
This basement is Hartford, Illinois used to have bowing walls and water seepage. Woods installed wall anchors to straighten the walls and repair the foundation.
Settling foundation can cause walls to crack or bow. Woods Basement Systems can install an anchor system such as the one pictured that will not only prevent a wall from cracking further but can even return a wall to its original shape. Woods Basement Systems also offers several methods of repairing wall cracks.
Rodney J and Ralph A were concerned when they noticed that their basement walls were beginning to bow. That’s why they called Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Kevin E was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jose L installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above. The wall anchor will attach to the basement wall and also attach to a stable level of soil away from the house and will pull the walls back into place and keep them stable.
