A window well belonging to a basement window was failing in Bloomfield, MO, as the lid was not keeping water from entering it and into the window. To solve this issue, the SunHouse Basement Window Enclosure was installed. This system gives an attractive, bright, and clean solution that keeps rain out, prevents weeds from growing inside, and reflects natural light into the basement. It will never rust, rot, or corrode, and will make a dramatic difference inside and outside the home!
Tom and Arlene S. of Franklin, Illinois were distraught when they discovered horizontal cracks in their block foundation. Cracks not only allow water into the basement, but they are a structural concern. System Design Specialist Nolan M. inspected the foundation and determined the walls were bowing. He designed a solution to restore the walls.
Dillon L., Foreman, installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors. These anchors are installed into undisturbed soil to ensure the walls are permanently supported. Geo-Lock is made of galvanized steel, so it won't rust. They anchors secure the wall and help move it to its original position.
Tom and Arlene can live comfortably in their home knowing their foundation is safe.
Darrell S. of Belleville, Illinois was concerned about the concrete sidewalk leading up to the porch in his home. He knew it was a hazard to any visitors or family members that were to visit his property, and wanted to fix the problem before it becomes worse. He had heard on the radio that Woods Basement Systems does concrete leveling and lifting, so he decided to give them a call. Our team used our patented PolyLevel system, a state-of-the-art approach to repairing sinking concrete. Taking the original concept of mudjacking and improves upon it by using modern technology and superior materials. Now that the concrete sidewalk is level and even, Darrell can rest easy knowing his visitors will stay safe.
Cassandra L is having some problems in her home that are originating from the crawlspace. The floors are sloping, which is caused by the support beams in the crawlspace failing. There is also water and a musty smell in the crawlspace.
James L and his crew installed a CleanSpace Liner in the crawlspace. This will separate the space from the earth, and prevent water vapor from entering, keeping the space clean and dry. SmartJacks were also installed, to support the crawlspace and to fix the sloping floors in the house. Cassandra can now relax knowing that her crawlspace is clean, dry, and stable!
A concrete driveway in Belleville, IL was settling, causing cracks to form and the slabs to separate. To solve this problem, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. NexusPro Joint Sealant was also used to seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. This will provide long-lasting flexibility and will stand up to harsh weather conditions. This will restore peace and mind for years to come!
