Mark J. of Swansea, Illinois discovered that water was entering his home's basement after heavy rain showers. He did not want to have to clean up a mess every time it stormed, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Jake S. assessed the situation and decided the best solution was to install a Waterguard drainage system and a TripleSafe sump pump. Foreman Melvin F. then headed to the home to get the job started. The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. It collects water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
Mark J. no longer has to worry about coming home to a flooded basement. He now has a dry and waterproof home.
Tressa H. of Belleville, Illinois noticed that water was entering her home even though she already had a working sump pump. She did not want to have to clean up a mess after every storm, so she called Woods Basement Systems.
Design specialist Brandon B. assessed the situation and decided that the best solution was to install a Waterguard drainage system and fix any cracks in the basement floor. Foreman Melvin F. then traveled to the home to get the job started.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. After installation, it was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
Tressa H. no longer has to worry about her home's basement flooding. She now has a dry and waterproof home.
Joan D. of Swansea, Illinois noticed that water was collecting her home's basement after heavy rain storms. She did not want to have to keep cleaning up a mess every time it stormed, so she called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Luke K. assessed the situation and decided the best solution was to install a Waterguard drainage system and a Twin Pack sump pump. Foreman Brett J. then headed to the home to start the job.
The Twin Pack sump pump, pictured above, removes water from the home through a discharge line. This particular sump pump is equipped with both a primary and secondary pump. If the primary pump goes out for whatever reason, the secondary pump takes over and keeps the basement dry.
Joan D. no longer has to worry about her home's basement flooding. She now has a waterproof and dry basement.
Alec and Karen of Belleville, IL noticed some of their concrete steps were uneven and were cracking. They wanted to prevent further cracking and damage, so they called Woods Basement Systems. Once it was concluded that their concrete steps needed PolyLEVEL injection, Woods Basement Systems sent their foremen, Andrew T. to inject PolyLEVEL.
After penny-sized holes were drilled into selected concrete slabs, Andrew worked to inject PolyLEVEL under the slabs. The entire process took a little over an hour to complete, and Alec and Karen were extremely satisfied with the results.
Michael had two crawl spaces that were both experiencing a moisture problem on his home. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist John S. developed a plan to get the space dry.
Foreman James L. and his crew were able to install Vent Covers, CleanSpace with drainage matting, Rim Joist Spray Foam, and a SmartPump sump pump. At the core of this system, the CleanSpace with drainage matting is an inorganic, anti-microbial vapor barrier. It is designed to redirect water vapor from the dirt and that comes through the porous walls to the sump pump. It also will fight mold by cutting of the food source for the spores.
With the whole system, Michael now has two crawl spaces that he can use for storage and that have cleaner air to increase the air quality of his whole home.
