Jeffrey and Maureen M., Belleville, Illinois homeowners, were distraught by their musty, moldy crawlspace. The wet crawlspace, crawling with mold, risked damage to the wooden support.

Chris and Bethany K. had two old sump pumps that had long since stopped working. They were getting water in their basement and their old waterproofing system was doing nothing to help so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a full perimeter waterproofing system.

As shown in the pictures, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System replaced they two old pumps. The TripleSafe contains two powerful, cast-iron pumps and a battery back up pump so, even in severe weather conditions that cause power outages, water will be pumped out and away from the basement and it will remain dry.

Virginia H. of Belleville, IL had always had a leaky basement but during one big thunderstorm, an alarming amount of water got leaked in and caused a big mess. She was tired of dealing with the leaks and mess so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.

Woods installed the TripleSafe as part of that waterproofing system. The TripleSafe contains three pumps, including a battery back up pump, to expel intruding water safely away from the basement through its discharge lines. The TripleSafe can deal with weather ranging from light showers to severe thunderstorms. In the event of a power outage, the battery back up pump can remove up to 11,000 gallons of water from the basement on a fully charged battery.

Homeowner, Kellen W. of Belleville, IL noticed a musty smell along with uneven floors in her crawl space. She did not know for sure why this was occurring so she gave Woods Basement Systems a call. Our system design specialist Nolan M. headed out to Belleville to do an inspection on the home and create a design that would resolve the issue. During the inspection, he discovered that the smell and uneven floors were due to standing water in the crawlspace of her home. 

Foreman, Joshua B. did a CleanSpace encapsulation system installation. Many homeowners do not know exactly what is going on in their crawlspace. The air in the crawlspace is damp. If there is mold growing, it causes the dust and dirt to travel in the upper level of the home. The CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system prevents water from leaking which reduces moisture and prevent mold. With this system, the air of Kellen W. home is safe and allergen-free.

Kellen W. of Belleville, Illinois discovered that his home's crawl space was holding water. He knew that standing water could cause mold growth and rotting, and there was already a musty smell in his home because of it. He decided to call Woods Basement Systems for assistance.

Design specialist Nolan M. assessed the situation and decided that the best solution was to install a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a SmartPipe drainage system, a SmartSump sump pump, and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier. Foreman Joshua B. then traveled to the home to get the job started.

The CleanSpace encapsulation system, pictured above, is a durable liner that is placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It acts as a vapor barrier and completely seals the crawl space from the ground below.

Kellen W. no longer has to worry about water coming up from the ground and flooding his home's crawl space. He now has a dry and waterproof crawl space.
