A sidewalk in Belleville, IL, was unleveled and needed to be addressed before potential tripping hazards emerged. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, PolyLevel™ was used to level out the concrete. This system works by drilling pea-sized holes into the concrete and injecting a polyurethane foam underneath. The foam then expands, lifting and leveling the concrete slabs. Next, NexusPro™ was used to seal the seams in between the concrete slabs. This flexible sealant will withstand any harsh weather the homeowner may receive, as it is very durable. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their sidewalk is in great shape!
A walkway in Belleville, IL had unprotected joints. If left unattended, water and dirt infiltrate and cause soil erosion or sinking. The homeowner reached out to Woods for a quick and long-lasting solution. We had just the solution. NexusPro™ is our silicone-based sealant that remains more pliable than other caulking. The walkway ends up with a fresh, clean look!
On this job, our team of amazing experts installed WaterGuards™ along the floor/wall joints of the basement. The WaterGuards™ collect the excess water that's seeping out of the wall/floors, then it's pumped out of the basement using the StripleSafe™ sump pump that our team also installed. Then they installed a SaniDry™ Sedona with a stand to keep the humidity low.
A flooded basement can be devastating, as Jason S. of Moro, IL knows. His basement would flood over an inch in areas and the clean up took hours so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.
As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, shown in the picture. The TripleSafe consists of three pumps: a primary, secondary and battery back up pump. The powerful pumps ensure that the encroaching water will be pumped out and away from the basement, even if there is a power outage.
Robert B. of Moro, Illinois noticed that a few walls in his home's basement were bowing and cracking. He did not want to ignore the problem and allow it to get worse or cause safety concerns, so he called Woods Basement Systems.
Design specialist Cory S. assessed the situation and decided that the best option was to install a few PowerBraces. Foreman Jeremy R. then traveled to the home to get the job started. PowerBraces, pictured above, consist of steel I-beams that are fastened to the joists above the wall. The system is adjustable and can be tightened to help stabilize and straighten the wall.
Robert B. no longer has to worry about the walls in his basement's home bowing or cracking. He now has stable, safe, and straight basement walls.
