Dale B. of Collinsville, IL was having major issues with water getting into his finished basement. It was damaging his finished walls and soaking his carpeted floors. Dale was worried it would only get worse so he called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Woods recommended installing a basement waterproofing system.
IceGuards were installed as part of the waterproofing system. IceGuards are attached to the discharge lines from the sump pump on the exterior of the home. Water will flow straight through them when there is no problems with the exterior discharge lines. If the discharge lines become frozen during the winter months, however, the slotted openings in the IceGuards allow water to escape into the yard and not come back into the basement.
Dale B. can now enjoy his finished basement without worrying about rainy weather because he knows it will stay dry.
Brandon and Katrina U. of Collinsville, IL could not drive or park on their driveway without fear of damaging their vehicles. They contacted Woods Basement Systems for an evaluation. Our design specialist determined that the PolyLevel concrete leveling system would be the best solution.
Foreman Andrew T. and his crew injected the PolyLevel solution under the concrete leveling it out and sealing the cracks. Brandon and Katrina can now safely use their driveway.
Homeowner, David D. of Collinsville, IL discovered separation in between the concrete slabs on the patio of his home. Once he realized the trip hazards that the separation could cause, he gave Woods Basement a call.
Our system design specialist, Matthew S. did a home inspection and was able to create a design that would resolve the issue. Foreman, Juan H. did a PolyLEVEL system installation on the patio of the home. This system takes 4 simple steps to secure and settle concrete slab. PolyLEVEL system is also less destructive and has a quicker cure time than other repair options. Instead of using a concrete and mud mixture, this system uses a high-density foam.
As seen in the picture below, the PolyLEVEL system is not only the quickest but the best solution to slab repair. David D. no longer has to worry hazards on the patio of his home.
Bessie and Steve J were concerned about the cracks on their driveway. So they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Matthew S was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Juan H used PolyLevel on Bessie and Steve’s driveway. The PolyLevel is injected into the concrete and will push up the portions that are sinking, and fill in the cracks. The injection leaves behind a dime sized hole that will be filled in with concrete.
Louise F. of Collinsville, Illinois discovered that water was entering her home's basement. She did not want to have to clean up a mess after every heavy rain shower, so she called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Nolan M. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a WaterGuard drainage system, a BrightWall paneling system, and a Twin Pack sump pump. Foreman Mason S. then headed to the home to get the job started.
The WaterGuard drainage system, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. After its installation, the system is covered with concrete. It collects any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The WaterGuard then drains the water to the sump pump.
Louise F. is happy that she no longer has to worry about her home's basement collecting water. She now has a dry and waterproof home.
