The first pump is a 1/3 horsepower pump that deals with most of the water in the system. If that pump can't keep up, a second, 1/2 horespower pump kicks in to remove water even faster. And if the power goes out or if pumps one and two can't keep up, a third, batter-powered pump will turn on to keep the basement dry. As an extra safety measure, the TripleSafe™ system also features an alarm that can alert homeowners in the event of a plumbling leak or other interior leak.

When it gets to the WaterGuard it is sent to the TripleSafe sump pump where the water is pumped out of the home for good.
