Diane L. of Troy, Illinois had water leaking into her basement, so she decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Chris A. was able to recommend installing a Twin pack sump pump, CleanSpace, and WaterGuard. 

Foreman, Juan H. installed the products. The Twin Pack sump pump includes two stainless steel sump pumps for added protection against leaks and flooding. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier made of inorganic materials, so it does not support mold growth. It is used to collect water that seeps through the basement walls. WaterGuard is installed below the CleanSpace in the perimeter of the basement floor. It takes the collected water and guides it to the sump pump so it can be fully removed from the home.

This Troy, Illinois basement was finished, but once the homeowner noticed that her carpet was damp, she knew it was time to get a professionals opinion. Team Woods looked over the space and recommended installing a drain system, WaterGuard, to the perimeter of the room to prevent water damage. To carry out this project some of the carpet had to be removed to install the WaterGuard into the footing of the basement floor.

This will intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it towards the TripleSafe Sump System, which will pump the water away from the house. A small section of CleanSpace Wall System was also installed to stop water vapor from permeating the walls and drain wall   leaks. Lastly, the PowerBrace system was installed to help permanently stabilize the foundation. These will also straighten the walls back to their original position and close the cracks to prevent water leakage. Susan can now rest assured knowing her basement is clean and stable!
