A crawlspace in Sorento, IL, was unstable and in need of structural support. This needed to be addressed, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, SmartJack™ was installed. This system will help support and distribute the weight of the home and can be tightened over time. With this system in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawlspace is safe to use. 

A foundation wall was failing in Raymond, IL, causing the bricks to separate and crack. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good!

Jim A. of Farmersville, Illinois noticed that a few walls in his home's basement were cracking and bowing. He did not want this issue to get any worse or cause safety hazards, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.

Design specialist Gregory B. assessed the situation and decided that wall anchors would fix the problem. Foreman Jeremy R. then traveled to the home to get the job started. The wall anchors, pictured above, are made of steel and extend from the inside walls of the home to the hard packed soil outside. They stabilize and prevent any further movement of the walls.

Jim A. no longer has to worry about his home's walls cracking or bowing. He now has safe and stable basement walls.

Rocky of Farmersville, Illinois, had a musty, wet crawl space and wanted to fix it, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help. Systems design specialist, Brandon B. recommended the installation of CleanSpace and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.

Foreman, James L. installed the products. The CleanSpace is a vapor barrier which works to fully seal off crawl spaces and basements from water, dirt, and critters. It is made of an inorganic material, so it does not support mold growth. The Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier is placed in the crawl space to keep out moisture.

Now Rocky T. can sleep easy, knowing his crawl space is dry.

Homeowners in Farmersville, IL had problems due to their unlevel concrete on their porch and back patio.  After contacting Woods Basement Systems, they installed the PolyLevel System.  This system is a unique approach to repairing sinking concrete.  After drilling small holes into the concrete, a polymer foam is injected into the concrete slab to stabilize the surface.  The homeowners were happy with their leveled concrete and peace of mind!
