Helen W was concerned when she noticed the water in her crawl space. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. One of our System Design Specialists was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Joshua B installed CleanSpace in Helen’s crawl space. The CleanSpace is a heavy plastic that will line the crawl space and keep excess moisture for getting in. 

Before this wet, Springfield, Illinois basement had visible water damage on the walls and floor. To prevent more water damage from accumulating, Team Woods head foreman, Greg H., installed a WaterGuard drainage system into the footing of the basement walls. This drainage system will collect and direct all pesky water leaks towards the home' s sump pump system. 

After years of water damage developing in this Springfield, Illinois basement, the homeowner noticed the walls were beginning to bow. To prevent this issue from continuing, Team Woods installed PowerBrace beams to the walls to secure and stabilize the troubled walls. 

Homeowner Therese R. of Springfield, Illinois wanted to waterproof her basement. Recently, she had noticed that when it would rain, water would come into the basement where the floor meets the wall. Her basement was half finished, with drywall on the walls with concrete floor. The rainwater had damaged the floor and walls, causing Therese to remove the bottom half of the walls (like many homeowners have to do when their basement is damaged by water).
